Lily Gladstone – starts at 3:00

But when the movie ended, the loudest screams were directed at the discovery of the film: Gladstone, who plays an Osage woman betrayed by her greedy husband for her wealth. She earned rave reviews and fought back tears as the crowd inside the Palais clapped loudly.

Martin Scorsese unveiled "Killers of the Flower Moon" to glowing reviews Saturday at Cannes Film Festival, earning widespread praise for his sweeping American epic about greed and exploitation on the bloody plains of an Osage Nation reservation in 1920s Oklahoma.

Scorsese's latest − starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro in well-regarded performances − is one of his most ambitious. The adaptation of David Grann's nonfiction bestseller stretches nearly three and a half hours and cost Apple $200 million to make.

The film, which is expected to open Oct. 6 in theaters, has received 96% "fresh" reviews on aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. It drew a lengthy standing ovation and repeated cheers for Scorsese, 80, premiering his first film at Cannes since 1985's "After Hours."

I'm 4 episodes into Your Honor and it's been brilliant so far.

That Bryan Cranston is such a versatile actor. After a role like Breaking Bad it can be hard to imagine some actors in different characters without reverting back to that big one but he nails it every time.

    If you catch my drift.

Anyhoo, I recommend it so far.

Only managed a couple of episodes.

Yup- the subject matter was unrelentingly grim, and there wasn't a single lighthearted moment in the entire season- it was one long death march to its conclusion. I finished season one, but I have no desire to watch season two. Even True Detective season one (the best single season of TV ever, imho), with its search for a serial killer whose victims included children, managed to slip a couple laughs in here and there.

I'm not saying it wasn't well-acted or an interesting story, but I had had enough after a while.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Not my strong suit. I'll try again. I kept asking if he knew his country was at war and could hear the guns, why didn't he fill in the hole and wait.

    Mothers Day (Netflix movie, 2023)

If you liked John Wick then you'll love this, it's Joan Wick.

Polish so up to you if you want subs or dubbed.

Sadly with RARBG gone the link options have bombed dramatically.
