Anyone interested in the 'Survivor' series? I've been watching off and on for years now but recently decided to catch the latest Survivor Australia season. Thoroughly enjoyed it, whoever selected the cast did an excellent job.
I am starting to look for more Australian shows, seems to be a mixture of British drama/humour (engaging) and American scenery/weather (sunlight) so if you got any recommendations that'd be much appreciated. BTW, I enjoyed 'Underbelly'.

    The Batman.

Probably could have edited out half an hour of directorial self indulgence without hurting it too much, but it's watchable.

    Usual places.

There was an SAS training style show the other week on my torrents. Ozzie celebs. Reality show tho.

The latest season of Billions was excellent (it's not on Netflix yet but is available via the usual torrent sites). No spoilers, but it's a favorite of mine and I thought the quality might go down a bit considering the way the storyline has evolved, but that wasn't the case at all- if anything, it's gotten even better.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Cool, I thought S01+02 were excellent, then there were a change of directors and it changed to be more one-liney. Barely finished the last season but will give it a go.

The North Water... a mini series... just started watching it and captivated.

It's on BBC iplayer but I'msure clever people can download it from elsewhere.

Ruddy hell this Ozark is hard work compared to Breaking Bad.
    2/10 Vs 10/10!

Yeah, I wasn't crazy about the previous season either, but real-life issues experienced by *a main character* (again, trying to avoid spoilers) severely limited the actor's involvement and hurt the flow of the story.

A new HBO mini series, "We Own This City". Baltimore police (shades of "The Wire"?) Gun Trace Task Force, and its decline into corruption. Sadly, a weekly drip feed of its 6 episodes. First one here:

Still hard to make head or tail of "Outer Range" after four episodes.

The writing is a bit wayward.

I found this short YouTube documentary interesting. Touches on the history of automobiles, age of the earth, physics, chemistry, IQ reductions in the world, and the the health effects of lead.

Slow Horses is pretty good. Final episode drops tomorrow.

Following a dysfunctional team of MI5 agents -- and their obnoxious boss, the notorious Jackson Lamb -- as they navigate the espionage world's smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces.

    2 "California" - May 1, 2022
    3 "King George" - May 8, 2022

King George was great. I'm halfway through Batman now and it's dragging.

"Compartment No 6". A mature Finnish student at a Moscow university makes a train journey to Murmansk. Not a great subject matter, however, a good story, particularly if you have any experience of Russia and/or the arctic. Well acted and realistic scenarios, refreshing in being a good story with no 'name' stars. Other notable point given the current political/military situation, this was a joint movie venture between the Finnish, Russian, and Estonian cultural entities last year.
