Gone Fishing, Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse. 4 series worth - its not action, just 2 old chums with heart disease bumbling around fishing spots in Britain. Beautiful filming of beautiful areas of old blighty, a few laughs, a bit of sentimentality, and a bit of facing mortality chat. I very much liking it so far cos I'm getting old too.

(maybe this has already been posted somewhere previously)

    Eternals (2021)

Marvel start the milking process all over again, this time on the Eternals comics. The usual CGI-based shenanigans with a very thin plot.
Judging by the post credit-nonsense there is already a sequel in the works.

But it's watchable fun if you don't take it seriously.

I'm guessing they can re-use so much of the CGI stuff that these things get cheaper every time they make them.

    6/10

Lots of formats here, watch out for crappy cams and ad-plagued copies that have been circulating for a while now.

If you recall, Ray Donovan ended abruptly in a right mess after being cancelled.

Well it seems Liv Schreiber co-wrote a sort of origin/backstory/finale and persuaded Showtime to come up with the cash.

It's not bad and puts a nice big bow on it.

Yes, were you a drill sergeant at Ft. Benning? I went through Basic, AIT, and Airborne school back in '94...

Nope. Went through Basic and Jump School there in '67. Went through Infantry AIT at Camp Crockett, Ft. Gordon. Was a Drill Sergeant at Ft. Knox 69-70.

Law And Order: Organized Crime. Two seasons are up. It starts a bit slow, but picks up nicely.

    Cool.

1337x only has the individual episodes for d/l as opposed to the whole season in 1080p, which bugs the schnizzle out of me as I have to d/l each episode separately. (modern day problem alert )

Anyone found the full S01 in 1080p?

When I posted this, I thought all of season 2 was up but I was wrong. Up through EP11 is up now with 12 coming on the 20th. Don't know if 12 id the end of SEA2 or not.

I agree. Sean Penn, who's twice her age and one grizzly mofo, just married her. She's the daughter of Vincent D'Onofrio and Greta Scacchi.

Next season will be the last- it's a very entertaining show. I recommended it on this thread when it first started five years ago, and it's remained very watchable.

I just started watching 'Peacemaker' (I'm two episodes in) on HBO Max (or Go or whatever it is)- dumb fun, and John Cena is doing a really good job portraying the character.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

EP12 is up (EZTV). Then a break until 24 Feb when it resumes with EP13.
