"Clarkson's Farm". An Amazon Prime production of the erstwhile Jeremy and his efforts running his Oxfordshire farm. He's had a farming column in the Sunday Times for some time, so this adds a visual idea of the trials and tribulations he experiences. If you enjoy Clarkson (and I do), his humour and self deprecation, this will be for you.

    Trailer:

    The Godfather.

Probably one of the most overrated movies of all time.

I tried to watch this movie before when I was quite young. Everyone spoke about it. It’s Mafia shit, it must be cool, right? Wrong.

So I’m older now, I gave it another go. I can’t fault the acting, it’s immense, as is the cast. The plot is just drawn out and long winded. Pretty boring for the most part. Seems to be a movie everybody loves but nobody wants to watch.

However, I’m committed now and I hope that those 3 hours of my life was simply a build up to set the scene for a downright awesome Part II.

Also, Brando was famously bad for remembering his lines, so they had them written all over the scenes for him. Once you know this, the way his eyes dart about to read them cannot be unseen.

Not a shit movie, just massively overrated.

    ^^ Must do them again.

The last time was 3 in a row in me early 20's, around 7 of us on a Sunday after a Saturday night of E's, starting hungover around midday, bottles and bottles of wine, good chunk of hash, pizza delivery for lunch and spaghetti for dinner. Not sure if anyone came over in the evening/night, but they probably wouldn't have been impressed with the condition of us. It's a movie right of passage.

^ well that was a job and a half from your link, took more time to clean it up than the download, Hope it is worth it. Chears all the same.

Edit, They all play fine on an old LG smart tv, a good download, will recommend copy and paste the directory into your own torrent application

    Raging Bull.

This was the first time I’ve watched this one and I thoroughly enjoyed it. De Niro and Pesci were absolutely spot on.

I am a sucker for a boxing movie though and a true story to boot.

I knew there would be a lot of stories behind the production of this movie so I had a read through the trivia section on IMDB. Well worth a read.

    8.5/10 from me

^ I slept on the lounge 2 nights ago, went to sleep around 2am, was into watching Alien and then Aliens, I woke up kicking, had a bad dream where someone was trying to bite me and i was kicking them off, I busted the end of my lounge, This lounge is a solid old thing, about 30 years old, Told the missus about it, suggested it was lucky "you weren't in the bed" and she said " Sleep on the floor next time" LOL, I love Thailand

    There Will be Blood

Great movie set in the early 1900’s based around early oil drilling, so quite fascinating for me, seeing all the early contraptions etc. The story line was pretty brutal and a bit fucked up too. Again, excellent acting.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest

Again a first for me. A fun movie and always good to watch Jack Nicholson in a wacko role. Can’t believe I never saw this earlier.

    Excellent stuff. 8.5/10

    Borat Subsequent Moviefilm

I watched this last night too. Usual Borat capers, cringeworthy encounters and quite a few laughs. I had the thumb drive directly into the Telly and didn’t get subtitles (not sure if we’re supposed to or not) but it didn’t matter.

    Maria Bakalova...

    Worth a look in. 7/10

I also watched The Wolf of Wall Street again.

I really don’t need to say anything about this move. If you haven’t seen it, you need to see it.

    A Clockwork Orange

A masterpiece by all accounts. Actually not as fucked up as I was expecting it to be in all fairness.

Watching all these old movies for the first time makes me wish I had seen them sooner. I think that the quality of movies these days we are quite spoiled and some of the older ones have lost a bit of their charm and stunning/shocking nature.

For this reason I’m probably never going to make the time to watch Star Wars.

    8/10.

    Nil by Mouth (1997)

Ray Winston, Kathy Burke and a host of familiar faces.

This was a hard watch. Gritty, domestic, real life drama that will be familiar to anyone from a tough council estate. Think drugs, fighting, alcohol and domestic violence. Some laughs too before it gets serious.

Brit Sci-Fi film. Interesting enough though a little bit predictable maybe. Worth a watch I reckon.

Must admit, I never noticed any self deprecation in the past.

Perhaps he's less obnoxious as a newcomer to agriculture.
