S3 of Kobra Kai seems to be fading.

Still watchable and enjoyable and nostalgia never gets old (*Boom tish!*) but I dunno if it'll have much more legs after this although I note S4 is already in production.

    Thanks for the recommendations, PAG!

^I thought S3 was pretty good, I like how they go back to Japan. I look forward to Season 4.

Started watching Elvis Presley, The Searcher - An in depth look at Elvis his fame and his death. More of a documentary, oops wrong thread.

I watched it, S1 & S2 were good enough, but thought S3 was a bit shit. Don't think I will bother with S4.

Just finished rewatching the brilliant first 2 seasons of Billions.

Unfortunately, iirc, Season 3 is the one that had a different producer and it became a bit shit.

Want to feel old? Just watched "Scum", a 1970's classic of British cinema, featuring a very young Ray Winstone in a juvenile correction centre setting. Given the time span since it was made, the production and direction holds up very well.

    Trailer:

    Download:

Typically movies of this era for download are poor quality, but this one was remastered in 2012 to an acceptable standard. Recommended.

    Download Scum.1979.(Alan.Clarke-Crime-Drama).1080p.BRRip.x264-Classics Torrent | 1337x

    Great film.

One very strong memory I have is my dad slipping a disc in his back and having to lie on the floor watching movies all day, I got home from school one day just at the garden rape scene happened. Definitely didn't do me any harm.

The Pact a BBC 6 parter.
Not something I would normally choose to watch but I found it enjoyable.

4 female brewery workers decide to play a harmless prank on their hated boss after an office party.
    The morning finds him dead.
The 4 decide not to tell anyone of their prank for fear of losing their job
Then follows the consequences of that decision.
The ending is a bit predictable but overall it held my attention.

    I have watched far worse.

Also I note the "Mr. Inbetween" starts its 3rd season on Australian TV on Wednesday.
If anything like the first 2 seasons well worth a watch.
    A little bit different

A very good watch and I've no idea how it's gone so unnoticed generally and on here.
I should have been on here more then. Just discovered it myself a few weeks ago and think it's absolutely marvellous. The first half of Boyz n the Hood crossed with Breaking Bad and Narcos and better than all of them.

Army of the Dead (Netflix) is an amusing, bloody, zombie romp from Zack Snyder.

because I thought it might be enjoyable - the review I read on ars said it had humour

instead it seemed like a vehicle written by a closeted homosexual to star his favourite tattooed steroid doll + guns

Having liked his previous work, particularly his earlier stuff, we turned it off.
