It's very old but. I decided to download the first 3 seasons of Seinfeld 2 days ago. have about 7-8 episodes to go and havn't found one yet that i remember from watching back in the 90's.
Very enjoyable fun to watch and crack a laugh at.
Will definitely download the rest of the series.

I watched the first episode of Debris , and nearly canned it about 30 minutes in , but because I had nothing else for amusement I finished it - it is a bit of a vehicle for the the actors with cliche driven film making style and wanking film lead background stories - not sure if I will stick with it yet , I will try the second episode
If they'd stuck to a new investigation every week, it might have had legs. But the banal subplot takes up more and more time and I gave up on it.

That sounded interesting to me so I borrowed it from the IntraGoogles and started watching only to realise I'd already seen it but had forgotten.

Not sure if that's more an indictment of my memory or the quality.

Ended up binging BOB out of the blue the last few days. It's so utterly brilliant, particularly the lead role, have just downloaded Billions S01 in 1080. IIRC the first 2 seasons are Top 10 level

Your life seems particularly replete with excitement at the moment.

    Any shortbread on the go?

About as exciting as most during a Covid wave. Maybe google it.

Actually doing up a batch of fudge brownies later with this kid I found. May or may not add rum when her and one of her mothers aren't looking.

We'd invite you round, but you know,... Covid.... plus you're extremely boring and no one likes you.

    Stowaway (2021)

An Amazon sci fi movie that presents an interesting ethical dilemma.

    Not bad

    7/10

Currently on Netflix. Love death and robots.

Very short filmlets, animated, cgi, some live action. Independent episodes, short, 10 to 20 minutes. As absolutely weird as fuck.

Worth watching, although most times my take is : wtf?????????

Stumbled on "The Sweeney", a 1974-78 old British cop series. It was mentioned in a book I was reading. Not bad.

    I love that!

Volume 2 is out presently I believe so you've timed it well, I finished Vol 1 ages ago and have been waiting an age.

I loved 'The Sweeney' when I was 12.

I once got a 'Sweeney' jigsaw for Christmas. You read the thousand word crime 'thriller', then completed the jigsaw to find 'whodunnit'.

OK so the dramatic tension there got somewhat dissipated.

They always used to have a topless scene in E01 to keep you glued to the entire season. Times were hard.

I downloaded the movie a while back, but it was poor quality.

John Thaw was a fantastic actor.

Logic suggests that you follow this with The Professionals.

There's a 2012 film remake of it. I can't imagine it's anything groundbreaking but probably good for an evening and a few beers.

I've just watched all of Daniel Craig's Bond films in 2 days. Hoping that they will release the latest one soon as he's obviously the best Bond.

Followed by Brosnan in 2nd place

I'm always late on these things, but really enjoying the 'new' season of that 'F1: Driven To Succeed' show on Netflix. It's brilliant.

Thing is though I hate watching actual F1 with a passion. Go figure.

That was tops, did the 2 seasons in 2 or 3 days.

Some really top guys in it, the Aussie Italian and the Thai Brit (or full Thai raised in Britland) Hope he goes on to win a bucket load of races, as he's sure been robbed a few times.

"Viewpoint" a decent enough series running on ITV every night this week. Set in Manchester, a Police observation unit sets up opposite a suspect in the disappearance of his girlfriend. A missing persons case starts to reveal a host of other activities and involvements.

"The Little Things". Decent movie with (a portly) Denzil Washington and Rami Malek amongst other recognisables. A small town Deputy Sherrif is sent to LA to collect some forensic evidence, only to get involved in a case which throws up his traumatic past.

    Small town cop investigates homicide.

Two episodes so far, and it's shaping up well.

    Kate Winslett is quality.
