He seems to have been influenced by music sampling.

I've only had a brief look so far, though.

    It's a lot of material.

    Behind Her Eyes (TV, 2021)

A psychological thriller that twists into a supernatural one.

A psychiatrist married to a slightly unhinged wife has an affair with his secretary while, unknown to him, the secretary befriends his wife.

Takes a while to lay the groundwork but it's worth it for the ending.

    7/10

    Monster Hunters (2021)

That bird out of the Resident Evil computer game franchise in what, judging from the ending, may be the first of another computer game franchise.

This time she is a US ranger teleported to another world where she has to fight monsters.

Aimless action that just about passes the time. 5/10

Finished 'Your Honor' (that was recommended on this thread back in December)- it was good enough that I stuck with it, but, man, it was just unrelentingly grim- I don't think there was a single laugh in any of the ten episodes. It was an interesting story, but I didn't like any of the characters.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I thought it was watchable on the whole, but a bit too 'stagey'.

    The ending was crap.

It's based on an Israeli series called Kvodo- I don't know how closely the US version followed the original's plot. I agree it was good enough to keep me interested, but I expected better. Bryan Cranston is always going to live with the expectation that, whatever his current project is, he's gonna make another 'Breaking Bad' quality show- not this time.

Really sad Fawlty Towers only went for 12 episodes. What a great show; just watched in for about the tenth time.

New movie on Netflix is a great thriller. I Care A Lot with Rosamund Pike, Diane Weiss, and Peter Dinklage as the badass nemesis. Dark humor and white knuckle stuff!

A crooked legal guardian who drains the savings of her elderly wards meets her match when a woman she tries to swindle turns out to be more than she first appears. IMDb 6.3.

    Debris (TV, 2021)

Promising pilot of a Scifi series about bits of a newly discovered, derelict alien spaceship falling to earth with unpredictable effects.

It reminds one of Fringe - not surprising since it's from one of that show's team - so if you liked that, you might like this.

    7/10.

Tell Me Your Secrets (TV, Amazon Prime, 2021)

A complex 10 parter with three main characters treading very fine lines: The former girlfriend of a serial killer implicated in his crimes; the mother of one of his victims who wants to find her daughter; and the convicted rapist that the mother ropes in for the search.

It builds its case nicely and by the end it's hard to know which way to turn there is so much going on. Great characters, well acted in a great script.

    I found it very engaging.

"The Assets". (2014). Eight-part series on the case of traitor Aldrich Ames, a mole in the CIA who probably did the most damage ever of any penetration of the US.

If you can find it, there is a half decent tv movie called "Aldrich Ames: Traitor Within" with Timothy Hutton

So Netflix recommended this for me and I hesitantly gave it a go as there's a lot of crap on there and I'd never heard of it. Well what can I say it's brilliant. Historic London based murder series that leads you through all the characters/suspects lives taking the plot in different directions with bags of emotion and a reminder of how things used to be. Some people can change, can find themselves again others will never escape their mistakes.

Yeah, it's been a consistently good show that one.
