As does this...though be warned, she's pushing 70.

I don't usually care much for Bill Nighy, but he's well cast in this.

Halfway through The Last Ship S3, not sure how I made it that far, plagues always have potential but all too common with an astronomical credibility factor. Disappointing, was ready to delete in S2, maybe the producers thought they could sell anything if it has enough shooting.

Tia to anyone seen it for a heads up, does it settle to a less implausible set of plots and subplots, or will it be more wasted time?

Black Mirror, certainly an interesting start, hope they don't spoil this excellent intro.

    Straight Time (1978)

Dustin Hoffman as an ex-con who tries to go straight, but not for too long.

Great supporting cast, including Theresa Russell, Harry Dean Stanton and Gary Busey.

Really enjoyed it - a believable script and the whole cast really plays well off each other.

A very tidy movie that delivers. Best I've seen in a while.

    8/10

Has anyone bothered with Quibi yet?

There are 11 episodes of "The Fugitive" up (out of 14), but they are like 80Mb an episode.

Does that mean the entire series is the length of a movie?

I am enjoying Mrs America with Cate Blanchett.

I had never heard of Phyllis Schlafly. Interesting character.

Can't remember any other upbeat positive portrayal of a late 20th century conservative political figure or movement in recent TV or movies.

    We live in interesting times.

Only 2 episodes in so maybe the knives come out in the 2nd half.

Quibi is some new streaming platform where everything is chopped into bitesize chunks supposedly because people are itching to watch their TV on mobiles while waiting for a bus or something.

It is doing its tits apparently.

I finished The Rain mainly by leaving it on in the background and glancing occasionally.

At least one season too long.

Oh yeah, I think I managed about 20 minutes of that.

The whole concept just seemed torturously dull.

Much like your posts but who am I to say that? And it's tortuously.

I find you about as interesting as a wet Wednesday in Walsall too, as it happens.

And it's torturously as well as tortuously.

There are no words to describe how bad it is.

Well, other than "fucking" and "shit".

Kiefer Sutherland must have had an enormous cheque to even go near that script.

Added: Judging by the number of "S01 Complete" rips hovering around the 1Gb mark, I would guess that someone has ripped a load of their content recently.
