A lot are not particularly spectacular, but they have a feel-good factor that I like or sometimes just a ha-ha moment...
Inner Sanctum (1948) has some great lighting at the beginning...
The Fast and the Furious (1954) has some lovely footage of my favourite Jag...
39 Steps (1935) is still my favourite version, although the 2008 version wasn't bad and closer to the book.
The Lady Vanishes (1938) is just brilliant...
Just in case there are a few oldies on TD who loved the black&white era...we never had a colour TV until 1973....
