Tried watching "The Pharmacist" but the guy breaking down in tears every five minutes started to piss me off halfway through episode 1.
Understandable for him given the tragic happenings, but the editing and dwelling over every mawkish detail and teary eye spoils what should be an interesting story.

    Hunters (2020)

"A diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City discover hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team will set out on a bloody quest to bring them to justice."
    On Amazon Prime and torrents.

    Starts well

Not so much of a leap of the imagination, tbh. They didn't start a Fourth Reich, just the US Space Program.

Now that looks like a Netflix four-parter, at least.

And I'm supposed to care because.....?

I mean it's overtly pro-Jewish, so I would imagine everyone who doesn't like blue suede shoes will be writing bad reviews of it to put people off watching it.

I know that I'm late on this one but have just started watching the 'Cobra Kai' series on YouTube Originals.

I'm only two episodes in but I like how they link back to the Karate Kid and flip everything on it's head somewhat.

No, you're not 'supposed to care'.

Any more than I give a toss that you think it 'starts well'.

Just binge-watched SE1 of Narcos: Mexico. Great series. Characters, plot, violence, and a lot of humour also.

Got SE2 lined up to watch later. So good I will have to ration myself with the second instalment.

After a two year gap, "Better Call Saul", season 5 episode 1 is now up.

    I want to upgrade/date that: it's excellent.

^^Watched it last night. Bob Odenkirk's slimeball lawyer character is hilarious, but other than that I can't explain why I like the show so much..

Upgrade to the upgrade: S1 done and it was superb.

A little bit cheesy (befitting the 80's material it deals with), a little bit dark, often quite funny, and very subversive. The way it forces the whole 'Karate Kid' films to be seen from another perspective is very well done.
