I got the X265 HE-Team whole series download from limetorrents

It has full subs embedded in a single sub-track (not hard coded) which includes

Spanish -> English
English -> English
Noises -> English

I would prefer just

Spanish -> English

but I was too excited to watch the next episode to remember to get them before cooking my dinner each night.

But for series 2 I think I will make the effort to find the Spanish -> English only

It would be good if VLC player (or any player) supported sub files that had toggleable categories so you could selectively turn off
English -> English
Noises -> English

and just be left with

Spanish -> English

Maybe I will submit and enhancement request on their website.

Just watched the 1st episode of Star Trek: Picard - now free on Youtube and Amazon.

I would have liked to watch some more episodes because it looks pretty good, but I'd have to get a CBS monthly subscription (which may or may not be possible with my VPN seems as it has to go through my Amazon account which knows I'm in Korea/England with Korean/British credit cards...), but I'm not doing that. Bastards.

Since I got my super duper MacMini, I only do legit stuff, so I won't be downloading from PirateBay or the such. But, apparently, most other punters feel the same way as me and viewing figures of Picard are low (hence the free first episode...), so maybe CBS will cut their losses and put it on Netflix or Amazon Prime.

'The Stranger' is pretty good.

Harlan Coben is keeping it in the family by hiring his daughter as the screenwriter, and it's typical Coben stuff.

Lots of family, DNA and subplots.

He does bring things to the boil skilfully though.
