Are you watching them on an old 14inch tube-box or what.

'*very* early release' doesn't make it watchable, no matter how may *s there are around very.

Cams are early releases too, as is a Tuesday night vindaloo sold on special.

If you're comparing Cams with Screeners then you're really showing that you don't much about the subject at all, and in fact are just a snob trying to show off your shit 4K Hisense TV.

    Still holding off on that.

There's just no fokin' content for it.

At least none that you scam for free.

As soon as movie and series torrents are all 4k, I'm there brother.

Streamed the screener of 1917 on a 47" TV last night.

More than decent picture and a fantastic film.

I read about it being one shot following the two protagonists, but I didn't realise that it was so seamless.

What a brilliant piece of work.

^ Don't want to give too much away, but...

    --SPOILER ALERT--

I thought it was great how the focus of the protagonists were switched. I can't think of many recent films where this has happened.

I notice HoHo has a hankering for movies about people who are off their heads or on a different planet.

    I suppose that makes sense.

Glad you took the time to watch the movie?

One has either been there and experienced such things or one hasn't. The realisation that it is just a transitory event, good or bad, to be re-enacted or not is, as the Thais say, "Up to you".

    two things to avoid:

    marriage story
    jack ryan season 2

    both were boring and ridiculous.

gave 'once upon in hollywood' another viewing the other day and liked it even more the second time around. it's tarrantino's best movie in a while....certainly better than 'inglourious basterds' or 'the hateful eight', IMO.

Ah ok, read some poor reviews so didn't bother, but will give it 5 minutes this week or next, maybe.

I didn't think much of the hateful eight, but inglorious basterds is a great movie.
Once upon a time gets a thumbs up as well.

Jack Ryan Season 2 was acceptable, not as good as Season 1, but still watchable

Finishing Season 3 of the Handmaid Tale,

I watched about half an hour of it and thought it was shyte.

One of those American movies featuring a surfeit of short blokes getting shouty.

Getting good reviews though, maybe I should have persisted.

i thought 'uncut gems' was a good movie. it's a stressful/anxious watch, though...not unlike their last movie, 'good time'.

For me, this was the best movie I've seen for the past year until 1917 came out.

Honestly, you forget that it's Adam Sandler the comic within the first few minutes of the film.

I will not go back and edit my post because I stand by it.

I should have said, "Honestly, I forgot that it's Adam Sandler the comic within the first few minutes of the film".

Agree, not for everybody. but I really enjoyed it.

    Cobra( Sky TV, 2020)

Looks like they wrote a two hour miniseries then some fucker kept adding bits to it to pad it out for six episodes.

Then the worst casting agent on the planet was asked to go and find the worst cast ever, making sure they could barely act along the way.

The result is a pointless, shite mishmash that tries to be part thriller, part political drama and part fuck knows what, with the latter winning hands down.

    Don't waste your time.

Nah, a 24 "episode" epic is his bag.

1 hour long - made for TV "episodes, split over 4 "seasons", where only the first and last of each seasons actually deliver something entertaining.
