It has gone a bit quiet.
But 'The Americans' continues to entertain.
I don't know why this series isn't 'doing a breaking bad' in terms of popularity.
Everything about it is first rate.
I'm off to eztv right now for this week's fix.
In addition to The Americans (9/10), I am currently following Banished (9/10), Vikings (8/10), Justified (9/10) and Black Sails (7/10).
Started watching Season 1 of Black Jesus (TV Series 2014? ) - IMDb the other day.
Ok if you just want a bit of popcorn TV
Just started Death in Paradise. It has promise. Features the Cat from Red Dwarf.
Just finished season 1 of Justified, enjoying that.
Also finished season 1 of Love/Hate, meh.
Keeping up to date with Vikings, Gotham and Better Call Saul - All excellent.
Eagerly awaiting more Peaky Blinders, Hannibal, Game of Thrones, Banshee.
Watched all of Fresh Meat. Found it pretty funny.
Bosch was ok - nothing special , but watchable
second series of black sails is available
^^ I'm enjoying Better Call Saul, also. My favorite character from Breaking Bad, Mike, has made the jump with him.
^ Better Call Saul is showing signs of a good show, but is taking it's time getting there IMHO
Rusty Crowes first directorial effort,
The Water Diviner (2014)
Based on a true story of a man whoo goes to post WW1 Turkey to find the bodies of his 3 sons.
Not a bad flick, 7.5/10
^^^^ Yeah, BB took it's time as well. They're feeding us too much back story at the expense of entertainment. I expect we'll get paid back later. I've downloaded WD, but I just finished Gallipoli. I'll get at it in a couple weeks. The 2nd half of Madmen's last season has started at E08 today.
I'm only half way into this movie but it definitely is a 'must watch'.
The Drop - Rotten Tomatoes
I get mine mostly from kissass I like the way tv and film are separated. Recently got Paddington which I thought the mrs would like and she did, but wanted to know if it's a real Teddy bear
^ It could have been worse. You could have downloaded 'Planet of the Apes'.
we went to see planet of the apes, on coming out she asked if they were actors or real monkeys, I am not making this up. She has a degree and speaks 4 languages, but then is Thai! I said they were real monkeys but it took too long to teach them English so some were actors. She did not accept my first reply that they were all actors.
Game of Thrones is back.

No sign of Ex Machina yet..
Only watched a couple of episodes but I am giving Better Call Saul the
The lawyer was one of my favourite characters from Breakin Bad. Well worth a prequel spin-off. Nice to see them bringing in back story involving other characters who featured in BB.
'Silicon Valley' is back & it's just plain fucking funny: Silicon Valley (TV Series 2014? ) - IMDb
Last night I watched Mortdecai (2015)
One of the worst films I have seen for ages, so bad in fact that it was good
This review sums it up Mortdecai Movie Review & Film Summary (2015) | Roger Ebert
I used the AC3 download link ( the top one ) and the sound was a bit quiet so it may be worth trying another link on this page..... http://kickass.to/usearch/Mortdecai%202015/
Big Ol' Lucky Ol' Al.
Better call Saul is the real deal. Watched all 10 episodes this week.
