Yeah it's weird hearing him talk in his native tongue. McNulty is from Sheffield!

Bubbles is great. Maybe the shows only real winner.

    heh heh. I think not.

Prop Joe, Spiros, Slim Charles and Bodie, from the top of my head. Omar is obviously great too.

Amazing after about 12 episodes I am still deciding if it is really shit or O.K
I had the same feeling about Arrow and came to the conclusion it was poo.

Any suggestions from my fellow TD'ers for another series to help ease my pain will be much appreciated.
I share your pain. Only thing that works for me is Breaking Bad. Best show on TV IMO.

It plods along well enough for me, nout special though.

Looking forward to the return of Falling skies, which was similar, in an end of the world kind of way. I really liked that.

I don't watch television listened to a radio program about the Black Country today very interesting.
Should be on pod cast soon or try listen again.A comment made about beer being brewed and how much was consumed in a day by working men was unbelivable.

So I watched that (nice one Pill) which was reasonably entertaining, and The Life of Pi last night. A solid film with noteworthy special effects, but once again, as with most book adaptations, it was nowhere near as good as the read.

The Straits was a great series from ABC (Australia), available on The Sundance Channel here, starring Brian Cox. Unfortunately it won't be renewed.

    Hannibal S01E01 720p HDTV X264-DIMENSION

    Season 01 , Episode 01 – “Apéritif”
When the FBI takes on a case of disappearing college girls, Jack Crawford recruits Will Graham, a gifted criminal profiler with a unique view into the psyche of serial killers, to consult.

Jack also seeks the help of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist, who, unbeknownst to him, is not only one of the most successful serial killers of all time, but also a cannibal.
After a copycat strikes, Will and Hannibal join forces to track down the culprit.

This will be without a shadow of a doubt be never as good as the movie, Silence of the lambs. So i'll just have a gander at the 1st episode.

I've just seen it only started yesterday, so I'll download it as a job lot when the series is finished.

    Trailer looked OK though.

Premier popped up on eztv.it this morning. It wasn't bad, I thought it would be better though. Too early to judge though I suppose.
