    Fringe

"Sci-fi FOX drama, Fringe, a research scientist named Peter Bishop and FBI agent Olivia Warren team up to investigate paranormal activity. They seek help from Bishop's father, Walter, a brilliant (but possibly insane) scientist who is being held in a mental institution. Fringe explores mysteries of the paranormal as well as the relationships between the characters, and is steeped in mythology."

I've only watched the first 2 episodes but I'm loving it already. It's a bit like x-files, (which I couldn't stand), except you don't have to endure that ugly red haired bint.

There are 2 seasons so far with loads of episodes in each season so it should keep me going until my other favorites start back up again.

I read one of their books recently, the one from Oz to Japan and it was rather boring. For such an adventure and having it all organsied and travelling with a support team...well kinda whimpish really....more adventure in my bathtub.

Don't know if it was mentioned earlier on this thread, but "Breaking Bad" is a really good show.

Ewan had nothing to do with that, so I guess you just looked at the nice pictures.

So what...still crap....your idea of an adventure idol is chilling.....but nun surprising really that a pansy would enjoy it.

You obviously have a soft spot for Ewan....he is the twat that falls off his bike all the time right ??....

    24 Season 8

I love this show, and I refuse to watch it until all 24 episodes have aired, because almost every episode finishes on a cliffhanger.

This time it centres around an assassination plot surrounding a leader of an islamic republic and some Russians flogging weapons grade uranium.

There's one torrent of ep1-20 and you can download the other 4 separately.

This is ideal when you're rained in.

Friday Night Lights. A show about an American high school football team, but more about small town Texas. Really good drama.

I watched "Unthinkable" last night, new movie with Samuel L. Jackson, Carrie Trinity-out-of-Matrix thingy and that bloke that played Frost in Frost/Nixon.

Arab terrorist, nuclear bombs, torture, ethical dilemmas kind of thing.

A really good film and whether it's not released yet I don't know, but I would expect it to get good reviews.

I'm up to S01E05 of "Luther", an English crime series starring Idris Elba ("Stringer" in the Wire, plus numerous movie credits).

I honestly thought he was American!

It's a really well written and acted series. I eagerly await its continuation. Great twists throughout, without getting too buried in sub plots as some British writers are apt to do.

The bastards left a cliffhanger for Ep6 though.

    Luther Ep. 6

Oh man, they managed to just about resolve it then left another bastard cliffhanger for Ep.7!

    This is brilliant stuff, people.

Oh and "Lie to Me" is back with a new episode as well. A cracker as well.

Unless you like stuff from Discovery & Nat Geo which is aimed at brain-dead Merkins.
I was talking about the TV serie with Damian Lewis.
    "Life" (2007)

I just learned the show has been canceled after the second year. Too bad, I liked the humor. But it seems people prefer "Chuck" . Whatever ....

    Underbelly

First series rocked, Series 2 "A Tale of Two Cities" was better and series 3 "The Golden Mile" is unmissable IMHO

I still look back at "Shameless" when I get homesick

I just downloaded seasons 1&2 of 'The Young Ones'- reminds me of my university days (it was shown in the States on MTV in the mid-80's) sitting around getting stoned and cutting classes.

    Hi there,

I will be in Pattaya on July 20th and would love to have a copy of your tv shows but would prefer to have on a hard drive if possible.

I also have many tv shows on harddrive if you are interested in a swap of data.

Can you give me a list of the shows you have if possible please?

    TLC

Weeds just started back with season 6. I loved this show at the start being a bit of a stoner myself. The characters were great, the mayor and the accountant, the black pot dealer family, the kids - everyone.

After the first few seasons it went a bit downhill and changed to a bit more serious tune and more outrageous story line. But it was still a good show, definately watchable. See what they got this season.
