^ It’s a frantic and confusing movie. Massive body count.

Ransom Canyon (TV, Netflix, 2025)
Netflix's attempt at Yellowstone for those that like that kind of thing.
Warfare (Movie, 2025).
A decent, understated war movie set in Iraq.

Fountain of Youth (Movie, 2025).

Only came out today and plenty of sources already.
Added: Oooh it opens in Bangkok.

Dept Q
an english police show with some great lines - all 9 episodes dropped and so far I am liking it
The City is Ours is a decent enough watch.
The lead guy is very handsome.
Definitely good enough to watch it once, but not twice.
I've started watching this as I've been to The Valley of Tears, during me year in the region, similar to this poster's.
Luigi's 1 Year in the M.E. Travel Thread Fantastico.
We were taken there by an English lad Peter that went to Israel to work and married an Argentinean Jew that settled there. Big loud unit that went around dressed in combat fatigues and could talk about different guns for 72 hours straight.
Was an interesting place to visit, one tank there had the top blown off and the entry piercing round that hit it was clearly visible and a good few centimeters wide. To quote Peter the shell/round pierced the armor and then vaporized the soldiers inside. While he described how the tanks would be racing to turn their turrets on each other with the soldiers knowing well that being the slowest is going to result in you being turned into spaghetti sauce.
The main thing I took away from it was to never be in a tank in a close-quarters tank battle, if at all possible.
Just finished an Amazon Prime 8-parter The Better Sister with Jessica Biel Elizabeth Banks in the leads.
Who murdered the husband of one of the sisters, who also happened to be the ex-husband of the other sister?
Plenty of twists and turns and at a decent pace.
I enjoyed it.
The ultimate moral test of any government is the way it treats three groups of its citizens. First, those in the dawn of life our children. Second, those in the shadows of life our needy, our sick, our handicapped. Third, those in the twilight of life our elderly.
Hubert Humphrey American VP 1965/9.
Really is an excellent series.
Makes you think that there should be a new Vietnam movie made based in the tunnels. Just follow VoT's lead by not having big loud drumming and American backing tracks aimed at those with the IQ of an 8 yr old.
It's also time that Battle of Britain was remade, of course.
Bring Her Back
Disturbing. Along the lines of Hereditary.

Dept Q: Excellent
Mountainhead: Shit
Tin Soldier: I watched it so you didn't have to, spare yourself.
