Aw man, binge watched this the day after it came out on Netflix. So good, yet gory and insane at the same time.
I also hated the ending, but I was reading that they taped season 2 and 3 together and that season 3 may be out later this year. Can't wait to see what happens.

Well I caught the last couple of hours of the Golden Globes.

What an absolute car crash of cringe.

It was hilarious, unlike the hostess.

Lovely movie for family viewing. It’s beautiful and beautifully simple. Not a word spoken.

So Severance S02E01 is up, but sadly it's going to be a ten week drip feed.

The opening tracking shot is a technical masterpiece.

    The Hunting Party (TV, 2025)

NBC thriller series about a small team hunting dangerous prisoners who've escaped from a secret prison. Drip feed, one up. 6/10

    Prime Target (TV, 2025)

Apple series about a Uni mathematician and some dreadful mystery involving prime numbers that isn't apparent from the first episode other than he isn't supposed to solve it. Drip feed, two up. 7/10

Looks like they've dropped all ten of The Night Agent Season 2.

Also seems to be a lot of medical shows debuting:

The Pitt (with that bloke off The Librarian TV series, plays a doctor in an ER) - a few up but drip feed.
Doc (with the bird who was the mother in the Lost In Space TV Series and plays a doctor who gets amnesia) - a few up, but drip feed.
Watson (A "doctective" show like House with no-one I know in it) - Out tomorrow, drip feed.

    One for the trekkers:

Star Trek: Contact 31 (movie, 2025)

Michelle Yeoh reprises her character from Discovery in some old bollocks, because it was pretty rubbish.

the night agent 2 - fark - I have had 2 goes at trying to get into it - quit halfway through ep2 the first time and halfway through ep3 the second time

the seppo centric slop does grind my gears

but it is a giggle each time the lead runs to the passenger door to open and close it so the woman can get in - while they are running away from bad guys with guns - m'lady

SAS rogue heroes looks a better bet

Ganglands was pretty good - Ganglands (TV Series 2021– ) - IMDb

Yes, I had a similar experience. I thought the first 3 episodes were tosh. I was fed up of people running after each other and guns going bad. I assume it helped the 'plot' stretch to 10 episodes.
It did get a bit better though not so much that I would watch season 3 which no doubt is heading our way if the viewing figures pan out.

I thought season one was OK.

^ My two cents here. I wasn’t impressed by the first season as I couldn’t stand the lead man. Started on season two, mostly because I couldn’t find anything else to watch. As you say, it did get better when the story starts to focus on the character Noor. Now I must watch the rest.

I just finished The Penguin which was pretty good.

    Colin Farrell did well.

"Martian' in The Agency filled that role for me in a series that hands down won worst series I can remember watching.
As I said in an earlier post once I start something I have to finish it, but The Agency tested me, despite Richard Gere having a role and with George Clooney as an Executive Producer credit.
The French series on which it was based was far better.

I am sure that a second series is already underway. I will not start watching that.

As an aside on the Night Manager I would be interested in hearing how you though the Noor storyline developed.

I could look past the stupid way they dealt with the 1st airbornes glider catastrophe , the attacks on the coastal gun emplacements and the attack on augusta , but the woman turning up in a prison room for a sanitised fcuking sent me over the edge .

As ex-SAS myself i agree it wasn't very factual. And it did stutter along the way. But a decent evening watch when you just can't be arsed to think.
