    Only Murders in the Building

Funny whodunnit series with Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and heaps of other celebrities.

Three seasons out there with a fourth in the making.

^ I gave up early in Season 2.
    It is however very popular.
Season 4 is already being shown on Disney+

    The Guardian
Only Murders in the Building is screamingly funny. In fact, it’s the funniest thing on TV at the moment (or, rather, now being drip-fed on to a streaming platform). If you like comedy of any stripe, you will like – and perhaps even love – this show.
To make sense of it, however, you will need to start from the beginning: despite starring two septuagenarians, this is not your old-school dip-in-and-out sitcom

    Borderlands (Movie, 2024)

Strange choice for a game adaption. Cost 120m+, opened on August 8th and it bombed, so it's already streaming.

Very fucking childish, so it's probably something your kids might enjoy.

    Trap (Movie, 2024)

Dad takes his kid to a concert and it twists from there.

One of M. Night Shamalamadingdong's better ones.

Yes good watch , only criticism is lot of poor lighting to create retro atmosphere.

If you have time to kill, decent if you are into historical stuff like this but full of inaccuracies.

If you got a hoot out of Nick Cage in Longlegs, then you must see Glenn Close in The Deliverance! You won’t believe how this woman is dressed and what they have her saying.

The Deliverance is a horror movie worth watching just to see Close.

Cheers MK will check it out.

I have been binge watching BRASSIC on Netflix this week.

I have to say it is the funniest thing I've watched since Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels!!

It's a Northern English version with some excellent actors and actresses along with great settings and brilliant music.

Seriously I don't normally lose my shit over recommendations but this is up there with Breaking Bad!!

Every episode is a roller coaster of emotions and there are 4 seasons, do get onit like a car bonnet!

    You won't regret it!

There is only so much minkie speak, whippet appreciation meetings, refurbishing the out house, choosing which is best between benidorm or malaga and dialogue over pie quality you can stand

    61st Street (TV, 2022)

Nicely done legal drama set in Chicago about a cop killing.

AMC released S01 then strangely sat on S02, but The CW bought it so now both seasons are out there.

Thanks for the suggestion, Joe! I enjoyed Breaking Bad, so i'll check it out, when I can find time (working three jobs now).

Last night I binge watched, 'The Perfect Couple'. It just came out on Netflix with Nicole Kidman, Liev Shreiber, and Dakota Fanning. It is a drama/murder/mystery who done it movie. It keeps you guessing all the way through. I didn't catch the killer to the very end. Nicole Kidman is such a fantastic actress.

    Cool

BBC 6 x 1 hour thriller on iPLAYER for a year

    NIGHT SLEEPER

Fairly predictable sub James Bond train hackjack thriller.

Watched first 3 parts , will complete soon

Worth a look, the Glasgow to Euston train (made ironically by excellent Euston Films) seems far superior to the West Coast main line I used 8 times in last few years often having to stand even in first class.

    No spoliers please
Don;t often watch action movies but worth a peak IMHO 8/10 prefer grittier seedier Slow Horses 10/10

Good to see apart from Shogun the writers of Slow Horses gonged at the awards

Almost halfway through Slow Horses release dates and my resolve to wait for them all stands firm.

But I watched the first two of "The Old Man" and I'm not exactly biting my nails waiting for the next episode.
