Read up on the back story, and wandered off on various tangents, as one does. For those that have spent time in Australia, Neddy Smith (the country's biggest gangster) died a week ago in Long Bay gaol.
It’s had almost as many repeats as a FaRT post.
It is leagues above anything involving a Kardashian though, tbf.
1/2 a billion dollars seems rather excessive.
That Afghani bloke shaving off his yard-long beard without a second thought, with encouragement from his Arab mates - just wouldn't happen.
It could have made a good scene with some great dialogue - but the writers clearly weren't up to it.
I've been watching 'Vigil' concurrently. Different world - but again, writers who can't come up with genuinely engaging dialogue.
It has a cumulative effect of making the viewer kind of switch off and veg out.
Old (2021)
M. Night Shyamalamadingdong with another self-written and directed scary story about a bunch of people who find themselves on a beach they can't get off while aging rapidly. Usual twisty bit at the end.
Been in the cinemas for a while, first time I've seen Korean subs in a long time, but decent copies.
Not bad 7/10
Just a moment...
And the first half was mediocre.
It was no Godfather of Harlem.
'Vigil' ! I'm downloading English subs ! (Pun not intended) !
Despite the tough crowd here in TV land, I'll try one more. Hadn't seen a Western in a long time, so looked around and found "Godless" (IMDB 8.3) - one season only of 7 episodes.
Now be warned it's a 'realistic' Western, kind of similar to "Deadwood", so when it's night it's dark and when there's a sandstorm you can't see shit, etc. First part of EP1 is really dark and I almost gave it up. But the daylight arrived, and the story started to develop. I'm now into EP2. Developing well....we shall see.
New BBC series Ridley Rd starts soon
Trailer looks promising
On the receiving end of Millwall thugs I recall that non PC era where NF and BNP marched the streets with some support on the Monday Club right , KBW movement and the usual collection of Anti Irish Black Jewish voices.
Ridley Road: release date rumours, cast, trailer and latest news
The four-part adaptation tells the story of a Jewish woman who goes undercover in a neo-Nazi organisation.
The first trailer for BBC One drama Ridley Road has arrived, teasing a suspenseful story about a young Jewish woman who goes undercover inside a facist organisation in the 1960s.
The series is based on Jo Bloom’s novel of the same name, which was first published back in 2015, and stars newcomer Agnes O’Casey in the lead role of Vivien Epstein.
After penning an episode of HBO’s acclaimed comedy drama Barry in 2018, actor Sarah Solemani has now taken on the challenge of translating Ridley Road from page to screen.
The recently released trailer looks very promising indeed, featuring what could be a major breakout role for O’Casey as well as supporting roles for the likes of Eddie Marsan, Tracy Ann-Oberman and Rory Kinnear as real-life fascist Colin Jordan.
Read on for everything we know so far about the BBC’s long-awaited drama Ridley Road.
Ridley Road release date
There’s no confirmed premiere date for Ridley Road just yet, but the adaptation is likely to arrive before the end of the year, as a recent tweet from the BBC’s press office stated it would be “streaming soon” on iPlayer.
"You don't know anything about me…"#RidleyRoad - streaming soon @BBCiPlayer pic.twitter.com/INCE5AymHKThe project has been a long time coming, first announced all the way back in August 2019, with production delayed by the onset of the pandemic early the following year.

Started watching that last night after I finished "Squid Games", the only watchable Korean series with great dubbing I've managed to view.
Sick plot twists and games although the last episode was a bit of an anti climax.
