Finally got around to watching 'Polar' (Netflix) last night.

Pretty brutal film starring the awesome Mads Mikkelsen. Never gonna win any Oscars but a good bit of mindless entertainment and diversion.

The World Is Yours



The Crime / Comedy caper crossover is one that seldom ends well ime. The model of how not to do it has been done and redone by Guy Ritchie for decades now.
'The World Is Yours' is a rollicking success from start to finish though, mainly because of believable, well drawn characters and a genuinely witty screenplay.
I really enjoyed it. 9/10

It's a really childish pastiche of a cliche, and after the first 5 minutes I wanted to turn it off, same after the first 10 minutes, yet, if you're in the mood, there's laugh after laugh. Give it a go. It's called Future Man.

I just started watching a series called "Rogue". Its a crime drama about a under cover woman cop who goes to deep it appears. Been pretty good through 4 episodes in S1. It is definitely not children watching material. Its not edited and there is lots of the F word, violence, full nudity and sex scenes. Its filmed in Oakland, California

This is a tv miniseries called, "Unorthodox" that is very well done. There are only four episodes, but you won't be able to stop watching it.

"Unorthodox" which is based on a book (memoir) written in 2012. It is about a woman who leaves her extremely ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in New York to live in Berlin.

Just finished watching season 3 of Babylon Berlin, set in 1929 Berlin. A Netflix Germany offering with harcoded English subtitles.
Well worth a watch imo.

I watched the third season of Elite last night. Elite on Netflix.. good series.
It is a Spanish thriller teen drama, but it is quite good not really for kids imo.

Its an older series but I am up to ep 6 S1 and it is really good. Can't believe I didn't see it when it was out. S4 is a tough one.only 1 seeder and its slow. Looking for other options
