Anybody have a link to the latest Guy Ritchie movie 'The Gentlemen'? I can't find it anywhere....
Season 2 of Altered Carbon - a bit of a let down...
Cheers, hadn't heard of that and like most of his other stuff.
Cams of it here:

But will personally wait for 1080p.
I would usually be hesitant to recommend a Kiwi comedy because they're usually utter shit but 'Wellington Paranormal' is very good.
Probably not too surprising as it's from the same minds behind 'Flight of The Conchords' and 'What We Do In The Shadows' which are the only other exceptions to the shit NZ comedies rule (albeit the series version of the latter is probably more US-ish).
It's a spin off of the latter apparently. Looks good.
This has just come on my box...
Escape from Pretoria (2020) - IMDb
Mixed reviews. I like a nice thriller.
The Outsider on HBO is a gripping supernatural thriller. Based on a Stephen King novel.

Taskmaster always seemed like a shit idea. 5 comedians are made to compete some challenges with varying degrees of success.
But it's the absolute funniest thing I've seen in years.
Series 1-4 are free on YouTube. I need to find the rest somehow.

With Flight of the Conchords, you only have to look at Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie and Rhys Darby. The rest of the cast/production team was not needed.
What we do in the Shadows is a masterpiece created by Taika Waititi. You might know him for the Avengers movie, Jojo Rabbit or The Mandalorian (he voiced the killer robot too)
Yep Waititi is killing it lately, won an Oscar for Jojo Rabbit recently.
He was also involved with Flight of the Conchords and directed some episodes (and possibly wrote some too I think). He, Clement, and McKenzie are all long time friends and collaborators.
Which reminds me...
I can also highly recommend 'Boy' and 'Eagle Vs Shark' two films that involve some or all three on some level.
^ Cheers for the heads up.
That Daniel Radcliffe jail escape thriller waa pretty slow and forgettable.
Fargo is back next Month:) starring Chris Rock:rolleyes:
This is meant to be good and what I'm gonna watch next
"Amazon's answer to Narcos"
ZeroZeroZero (TV Series 2019– ) - IMDb

The "Birds of Prey" movie up on my iptv box. Starring Margot Robbie. Silly, nihilistic, OTT crap, and I couldn't be arsed watching any more after about 20 minutes in.. You have to be in the mood I suppose.

"A former marine and his friends struggle to save Indonesia from a ruthless party leader. "
Not many movies around from this area. I wonder how realistic the plot is.

Devs (2020)
The title refers to computer programmers, it's an Alex Garland *** sort of sci-fi thriller thing set at a tech company. Doesn't sound too thrilling does it?
Anyway, the couple in the opening both work there, and one of them gets promoted to "Devs", a mysterious separate unit in a mysterious building in the woods.
I was about to concede it was a bit too slow and then give up, but then the proverbial spanner was thrown in the proverbial works.
Three episodes up, I've enjoyed two of them, stylishly filmed and well written, but not an action series if that's what you're after.
7.5/10
*** Only just noticed he directed it, too. Eight episodes in total.
Knives Out
An Agatha Christie style comedy/whodunnit.
All pretty well done with Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis and Don Johnson among others.
Not really my kind of thing. 7/10
season 5 of Better Call Saul is going well.....rich plot, good character development, a few Breaking Bad cameos......what's not to like?
The Two Popes
I've just finished watching it- really good, well recommended. Don't know if it's been mentioned here yet. Anyway- Tony Hopkins & Jonathan Pryce are both stellar, 'nuff said.
Decent intellectual fodder, you don't have to be a churchgoer! Found it interesting from beginning to end, even some wry humor. 9.5/10
Just finished The Boys.
Better than I was expecting since I had only noticed a few comments about it. Crackling good I would say. Some great characters fleshed out better than the average marvel movies seem to manage with their megastar superhero stable.
Maybe my number 3 show of 2019 after the epic Chernobyl and the excellent Mandalorian.
