Episode 1 was good, thereafter to lost the plot imo.

Watching a film on a screen attached to the seat back in front of you in the economy section of an aircraft isn't the best environment to watch a film. With that in mind I give Ad Astra a solid 0.25/5 stars. This film fails on physics, pacing, plotting and performance. It borrows from Apocalypse Now -Space Willard to terminate Space Kurtz. Add a dash of Mad Max style lunar module road warrior action, a hint of Gravity special effects, and JFK's Donald Sutherland character offering inside scoop, and you've got one mess of a movie.

Bombshell (2019)

A biopic about the #metoo scandal that brought down Roger Ailes.

It might get an Oscar nod for Charlize Theron, who does a really good Megyn Kelly impression, but it's not a patch on Russell Crowe's The Loudest Voice, which did a much better dramatic job of telling the story.

Shit, that's a bit sexist innit?

There is also a pretty good flick called "The Outsider" 2018 release. Its about an American GI prisoner who ends up joining the Yakuza. I never heard of it, but saw and DL to check it out. English subs
