Can you guys just do what Ray's dad did...... fuck off

This thread is for pirated movie recommendations, not debates about the state of cinema audiences.

^ will do, as soon as I've finished Ta Irishman (a poor parallel to Casino which is one of my favourite movies; similar style, similar cast/director/story telling, just not as good in any way...).

indeed, an acid parody of DC Marvel craps, it does take 2 or 3 episodes to get into it, as it's not clear if they are taking the piss or not

Well yes and no -- the graphic novel that it's based on pre-dates the MCU by a couple of years and is more about comic book tropes than the movies, though doubtless the series itself was greenlit with all the movies in mind. It's a good watch either way in my opinion, arguably better than the story it's based on.

Garth Ennis the writer is fucking awesome but. He also wrote Preacher which was also made into a recently wrapped series (pretty good also).

errrr....maybe that's why i posted it in response to the photo of someone getting a blowjob in a movie theater and betty boo posting "who doesn't love a trip to the theater".

and that's another reason not to go the theater....they're petri dishes.

    ^^

didn't really get into 'the boys'. not saying it wasn't good, but it was almost as if they were trying to hard....but, it's sometimes challenging to live up to source material.

that's what i find interesting about the watchmen series on HBO....lindeloff is essentially taking it in his own direction.

Tis the season of Strongman episodes on the Tele. World's strongest Man is one of my favourite things about Christmas.

UK's strongest Man started yesterday on 5.

The Boys had diverged from the book quite far also by the time S1 wrapped up.

Haven't seen Watchmen yet but definitely will. Have been hearing quite good things about it.

I foresee a swathe of this thread going to the DH so I'd just like to get a quick "Cunty pissflaps to you all" in before it does.

    Ford v Ferrari (2019)

"American car designer Carroll Shelby and driver Ken Miles battle corporate interference, the laws of physics and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford and challenge Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966"

    Great movie, corporate cunts everywhere.

Yes, not much "mood music", plenty of battering exhausts and non-PC events, the video and sound quality is good and the and the adds can quickly jumped past.

Another reason to view at home,on your recorded download.

Coffee and other needs can be accommodated

    The Climbers (2019)

    Movie/tv download recommendations-0ba06a18b2a5b2068daff0a9a2ac2339-md-jpg

"May 1960. Mount Everest, the second step under the cliff. The four members of the China Everest Climbing Commando are attacking the most difficult and most difficult "second step". This is their fifth assault. The first four failures have cost them too much physical strength - ...finally, the wind and snow stop the gap."

Excellent movie Chinese and English audio and subs. Plenty of action, disappointments .... , but an ultimate victory for some.

A little bit of patriotism as well.

Just watching The Last Kingdom. Not particularly good in any way, but still I keep watching; we are becoming inane (easy for many of you rabble... ) with our watching practices.

Fans of Wheeler Dealers and that ilk might enjoy the last mechanic off that show putting together his own project, building an Alfa 158 from the ground up:

    All ten episodes here:

(I'm expecting a green from Ant for providing entertainment for his upcoming long haul flight )
