    Anyone remember 'The Princess Bride'?

Watched that last night with the kids. At first they were complaining about it being an 'old movie' but they pretty quickly became engrossed in it. Really is a great film.

Also watched 'The Neverending Story' the night prior. That hasn't aged as well I have to say.

No, I'm sure other people didn't like it as well.

Like I think Game of Thrones is fucking nonsense.

This movie was a bit disappointing when it was released, but with reflection, if you're in an easy-going mood, it's a good watch:

Highly recommended by myself 'Top Boy'.

This drama takes viewers into the housing estates of East London. There is tension between the drug gangs that operate almost openly and those who strive to live honest lives against the odds in the crime-riddled area. That tension is explored through the interlocking stories of 20-something drug dealer Dushane, who is determined to become the area's Top Boy, and good-natured but vulnerable teenager Ra'Nell, who is forced to grow up quickly following his mother's breakdown and enforced absence. The program combines elements of a tense gangster thriller with subtle social realism, some tenderness, innocence and humor.

A whopping 4.4 on IMDB and such reviews as:

"This is basically an endless and pointless spiral into depression brought on by being the only 4 remaining humans in the universe, it's the sci-fi version of watching paint dry with the exception being that watching paint dry would be less depressing.... AVOID!!!".
Which probably explains why you recommended it.

    Fortitude:
s1 : plausible, predictable, enjoyable characters, brilliant scenery, watchable 11 episodes, 7-8/10
s2 : early on they're clearly in trouble, scraping, taking liberties with good ideas gone wrong, finally got through it on the strength of s1 10 episodes, 5-6/10
s3 : utter crap, any self respecting team would've called it a day rather than go through life knowing they took this on, 4 episodes should've been a clue after s2
