Very good. 'Orange is the new black'.
Old Thread but as spending a big time on ships I am always interested of new releases on screen.
2 Movies have made me laughing in the past cpl of days:
Accident man (could have been from guy Ritchie but isn't)
51st State (with Wesley Snipes as drug chemist)
hilarious scenes in both of them..
Arguing with an engineer is wrestling a pig in the mud, after 3 hrs you realize that he f**king enjoys it
...we downloaded this from our "special" service: Big Little Lies (2 seasons so far)...5 neurotic characters experience marital problems and are ultimately involved in what appears to be involuntary manslaughter...while the cast is a roster of the latest female superstars (from Kidman to Streep), the scenery chewing is sometimes frustrating...still, an absorbing drama of unbalanced lives in Big Sur, California...
Majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd
The Handmaid's Tale wreaks havoc with one's emotions - from suicidal to semi erect in 10 seconds flat.
Despite the intermittent boner stuff, it's a decent premise with the right atmospherics and very well acted.
I also watched Fahrenheit 11/9 - on Netflix as well as torrents no doubt, very good stuff.
Ditto Sully, about the Hudson River plane landing a decade or so back.

Watching this on Netflix but it's on other platforms as well. It's been recommended on here already but deserves another plug. I wasn't that enthusiastic about watching it but can honestly say it's one of the best TV series I've ever watched. It's a chronological history of the Vietnam war but told from interviewing all the people involved so it tells the story from so many different perspectives it's brilliant.
best quote from a Vietnamese soldier "anybody that talks about winning and losing in a war has never fought in a war as in a war there are no winners or losers there's only death".
10/10
watched and episode of Les Norton on the ABC the other day - it was ok , full of 80s nostalgia like steel XXXX cans and the Bankcard
only 3 episodes released so far

^ Looks good cheers.
Just had Mindhunter recommended to me.

Strange it's flown under me radar, sounds good.
S02 (9 episodes just released on Netflix)
s01 in 1080p here:

New season of Hark Knocks is under way, two episodes so far I think.
This year it's the Oakland Raiders.
Accident man was OK. Thank You. I had to skip by all the martial arts, Jean Claude van Dam like, scenes but it was entertaining. Hmm. Wondering. Could he be in the running for the next James Bond? Wonder if he has the depth of acting skills? Looks the part?
I had already seen 51st State.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all
Those who cannot change their mind, cannot change anything.
Jacobs Ladders (2019)
A really piss poor remake of a (correction) 1990 cult classic.
2/10
'Jett' very good. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8594276/
'City on a hill' Awesome acting especially by Kevin Bacon.

Top of the Lake
Dark series with Elizabeth Moss and Nicole Kidman (quite old now) in a strange murder story
'Brassic' Funny as fcuk. Americans don't bother downloading as it's in proper English with no subtitles available. First episode https://1337x.to/torrent/3951960/Bra...4-LiNKLE-eztv/
I think it's one of those "All episodes available on Sky Go" things, but no-one has packaged it into a single torrent yet.

Added: This might be easier.

Just watched the first five minutes.
Starts with a shameless rip off of Renton's 'Choose Life' rant from 'Trainspotting' and is also a tribute act for 'Lock Stock'
Very derivative.
Inglorious Bastards....
The dude from the south is worth a note.
^ Six episodes, in various formats, available here: https://thepiratebay.org/search/brassic/0/3/0
When I downloaded all 6 episodes from the 1337x site only the first 2 were actually playable. The remaining 4 were unwatchable. I was unsure why. So I looked up and found I assumed episode 3 hadn't been aired until said date.
