Just finished the final episode of GOT. Had to tinker with my Chromecast to get it working again because True Online put in a new wifi router this week. Had problems getting it to work with 5_GHz. Switched to 2.4_GHz to get it going. Had to reset the Chromecast by downloading the Google Home app. You can no longer set up a Chromecast using a PC. I don't know why they think that's an improvement?
like everything else, every upgrade is bringing its lot of bugs and shit :)
what did you think of GoT, Humber? there is a GoT predictions thread if you want to add your rant against the final episode
I thought it was awesome and very well done,
The best way to find a torrent download is to use https://torrentz2.eu/ Just type in the title of what you're looking for. Job done.
Am I the only the only one watching 'Fauda'? Fooking brilliant. Didn't really get hooked on to it until episode 2. Just gets better.
Is that the Israeli CSI show? :)
T'was pretty good. I think Davis was the first one to recommend it on here.
I've posted in there. I liked it. I think they handled the metamorphosis and murder of Daenerys quite well. Loved the shot of the dragon's wings opening in back of her.
The council and election of Brandon the Broken was a bit much but what the hell. Overall, an excellent wrap up of a very good series.
Chernobyl.
Absolutely superb. If there was an Oscar for TV, it would piss it by a country mile.
If there were an Oscar for tv it would be won by the same old shyte that wins the Oscars.
Looks like the 5th and final episode will be aired on 3rd June, so I've another 1 1/2 weeks to wait. :)
One good Top Gear challenge was the race to Chernobyl, or more precisely the race to run out of fuel before arriving there.

There absolutely IS a 3rd season, in production now......
Another promising period drama (late 1950's), "Summer of Rockets" has just started its 6 episode run on BBC 2. Features Keeley Hawes (Home Secretary in "The Bodyguard") and Timothy Spall.

...starting season 3 Line of Duty: a Brit police procedural with heavy emphasis on documentation, proper rank identifications and tense face-to-face confrontations...dreary stuff, the plots never lighten, but all the accents and odd investigative red herrings keep my interest going...
^ I enjoyed the series, but my OCD gets the better of me and I always count the seconds of the 'beep' that the tape recorder makes before they interview someone in that room.
You know what room I'm on about. It's the one where they always say they will only answer questions from somebody one rank or higher.
"Netflix released trailers for all three episodes of "Black Mirror" Season 5.
"Smithereens," is the story of a rideshare driver who takes a passenger hostage;
"Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too," features Miley Cyrus as a (fictional) pop star marketing her own consumer robot;
and "Striking Vipers," is a story of technology getting in the way of Anthony Mackie's marriage.
All three episodes hit Netflix on June 5."
Anyone know where I can get The Leopard (1963) with English subs? The only copy I've managed to find is Italian and subbed French, which is a bit weird as it stars Burt Lancaster.
