    Sick of hearing about it.

Ahhh. It's a subtle drug at first, and you're almost addicted. Quit now or be lost to it.

    (Don't quit)

HUGE money for HBO. Which means prequels, sequels and spin-offs by the dozen. Stay tuned.......

...indeed, how long before a modernized update of aerial assault: Game of Drones?...
...or a similar series about aging Amazons: Game of Crones...
...or an 8-part expose of hospital malpractice: Game of Groans...
    ...etc...

Currently on S1E13, all done in the last 4 days. The twists are good. Even the predicatable becomes uncertain.
Red is an enigma. Are his reminisances real...one is left thinking they are, which makes him even more enigmatic.

5 seasons, apparently, so I wonder if it will all be anticlimactic by then.
Just finished S2E8. The darkness and twists are fabulous! There's a bit of plot inconsistancy, but who cares. It's diabolically gripping.

^^ I watched S01 E01 after you posted about it.

    Found it entertaining nonsense.

    Thanks.

are you referring to that stupid show with James Spader, The Black List

it's frigging idiotic beyond belief, nothing stand, the plot, the acting, it's like NCIS but without the second degree humor in it

it's miserable, gave up after Season 1 or Seaon 2

So...maybe E02 will be my bail out point.

Seems to be a gazillion episodes per season.

It's got so many twists. When you think you've predicted a conclusion, you find out you're wrong, albeit 10 episodes later.

    ^Yeah, S01 was surprisingly long. 20+ if I recall.
That it's got to S05 indicates something.

I'm playing the long game. Criminal masterminds, intrigue, and action, no matter the level of acting (we're not all Humberts) will serve me.

I think the poor acting was the dominating factor, you really have to have a high tolerance level for mediocrity to sustain such an artistic torture

Sometimes the story is more important than professional pretenders plying their trade.
You really have to be pretentious in the extreme to poo poo a film or series because it was low budget while the story was (largely) compelling.

Call me naive, but I can not understand the god-like status good actors receive from adoring fuckwits.
I can understand an appreciation for a good plot that intrigues, surprises, and transports.

    Cold Pursuit (2019)

Liam Neeson said this would be his last action movie so I was expecting something along the lines of Taken. Instead it's more like an extended episode of early Fargo.

I won't give the plot away but it has humour and violence, and some characters don't last very long at all.

A watchable 7.5/10 (if Korean subs don't bother you).

again, and as usual I would say, you missed the point

it's not about A-list actors doing great work or big budget series, I love independent movies with unkown second roles outstanding the lead roles, but here we are discussing crappy plot and crappy acting, not necessarily crappy actors

even the best actors can get crappy in their acting, but in that series, they are making it an art form
