Without giving anything away, there were certain aspects that the Viggo Mortensen character takes more-or-less in stride that I just didn't buy, considering how he's portrayed in the beginning of the movie- it was a good flick, but I didn't see it as a major award winner.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

After watching all three, I'll upgrade it to 8/10.

I didn't realise it was linked with the Milly Dowler case.

My only criticism would be that they didn't take the opportunity to put the boot into those News of the World bastards.

I don't find major award winners to generally be very good flicks.

    Bodyguard,

    Indeed, excellent British TV series,

got to give it to the Brits for their excellence in story telling in a clean visual way

    'Bird Box'

Hasn't been especially well reviewed but I found it interesting and engaging enough.

    A pretty scary premise actually.

And just to add to that in general I'm really liking this new strategy of Netflix to release 'blockbusters' onto their service after limited openings.

Saves waiting ages and ages for a decent torrent... which *ahem* I'm lead to believe some characters of dubious moral standing do.

Anyone else have problems with EZTV?

Most of the page loads but not the actual list of shows. Seems to be on every mirror I've tried.

Yeah I took a quick look at it after ages of not doing so this week.

    It was fucked.

Been on again off again for a few days now. If you stick with it, it eventually works. Fine right now. Seems worse before afternoon.

Yep...still screwed. If you go to rarbgmirrored.org, it has about the same content.

"My Darling Clementine" (1946) (B&W). A John Ford classic western starring a young Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp. Classic Americana....I think I first saw it about 1958.

    ^ Will be interesting, cheers.

    S01 was fantastic.

Didn't make it past E01 of S02. By all accounts I didn't miss anything.

    'BlacKkKlansman'

Watched this last night and I thought it was a bit average really considering the material it covered and potential it had. Also the pacing just seemed a little off (although that could just be me)?

Not terrible though and would be worth a watch if nothing else takes your fancy.

2Gb Screener of Bohemian Rhapsody if you're into that sort of thing.

And a gritty true crime movie with a best of British cast: King of Thieves (2018)

Spoke too soon. Ep2 just popped up.

But nothing after EP2. Just led with a double-header to suck folks in. EP3 up in a week. Weekly thereafter. Good thus far.
