Read today that Netflix are spending $8 billion on new content to compete with Amazon spending $5 Billion.

And Netflix are also petrified at losing all the Disney content to their new streaming service, Disney+.

Cable and Satellite TV are doomed...

Another side effect of that Disney thing is that Netflix are phasing out their hugely popular Marvel TV series.

Daredevil just got the chop, Iron Fist (which was a bit shit to be fair) and Luke Cage before it, and Jessica Jones probably next.

Some funny ideas in this, but it was a bit too scattershot to really work for me. I'm sure we'll be hearing more from Writer / Director Boots Riley, though.

5/10 on piratebay rocks.

Where did all those years go in between Danny Glover being an action hero and being a grandfather.

That "Girl from Nowhere" gets darker with every episode. So much of it covers topics that are discussed in here, too.

Saw this last night. McConnehaugghhy does his usual sterling performance in a pretty decent film. Hard to feel sorry for the protagonist kid in this story. Seems as dumb as a box of rocks.

ok, I wasn't a fan when it started, got lost quickly on Season 1

tried again years later, after all the hype, and after everyone was throwing their remotes to their TV at the end of Season 2

but fooking loved that show, I think I cried for the whole last episode
