    The Big Short.

True story of an autistic trader that predicted the crash of 2008 and shorted against the major banks to the tune of $1 billion+, and few small firms that were able to ride along on his coattails. Good movie.

    it was ok, nothing great

Margin Call (2011) was far better and more realistic

awesome movie, everything happened as depicted, from real testimony

the infamous scene with the phone call voice is not staged, they are real, actually taken from real market traders when everything was about to collapse

I think it aged a bit too much, might be difficult to re-watch

DL'ing it now, but for those that might like a spook yarn:

    Pine Gap (2018, TV, Australia)

"Set in the intensely secretive world of intelligence and the enigmatic US/Australia joint defence facility in central Australia, the spy-thriller Pine Gap delves into the famously strong alliance between the two countries."

All six episodes in various sizes here:

The Defiant Ones - 4 part doco about/with Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine is brilliant. Think it was Ant that first mentioned it on here.

If you liked that, this is next up.

    Death Row Chronicles.

    Very good. Very well produced.
