My parents bought me the first season of '24' for my birthday a couple of years ago. I started questioning the quality of the plotline when Keiffer's daughter managed to get kidnapped not once, not twice, but three times in one 24 hour period...

Oh - my latest acquisition is a Channel 4 series called Shameless. Brutal, hilarious and tragic. Swearing, nudity, casual violence and excessive drinking all set on a Manchester council estate. Top quality entertainment, Nooners, get downloading.

Co-incidentally, he has now done this 6 times in exactly 24 hours.
Thanks for reminding me why I don't watch much telly.

Ah, so I guess you downloaded it outside Thailand?

So what have you got in Thailand and elsewhere (or is the answer going to make me incredibly jealous? )

I've got a 1024/512 kbps link in Phuket. It's usually pretty good but tonight it has been particularly shite. I guess they're still fixing the undersea cable(s), and Somchai is trying to undo whatever he did to the DNS server before he found out it was a cable break.

    I've got 2.5Mb / 512Kb.

On a good day (i.e. before the recent undersea cable problems), I could regularly achieve about 2GB download or more.

The actress (can't remember her name now) described her role as "I was the one with the tits who had to run around a lot"

Benbaa is a man of exquisite taste.
On his recommendation I have started downloading the first series of shameless.

Looking forward to it, haven't seen a British series in a while.

A bit harsh, the script has many holes but it's great entertainment to watch as lead characters get killed etc..., not your typical seppo action opera. But you must not miss hour 1, if you miss it, then you don't get it for the remaining 23 hours.

Season 1 + 2 were great, Season 3 was a bit too much over the top, Season 4 was OK, and Season 5 is close to madness.

    Season 1 was awful.
    The kidnaps.
the twist at the end which was no twist at all.
not even a clue, think they just decided on that ending without thinking about it.
watched the first 3 series because a mate gave me the dvd's, won't bother with any more though.

    SHAMELESS

Well I watched the first six episodes of season 1 last night, 1 to go and I can't remember if I have ever watched a better series. Puts all the HBO stuf to shame.
    Absolutely outstanding.

I need season 2 and 3 NOWWW...... I have just noticed that the first 2 episodes of season 4 are up.
Unfortunately season 2 is a 4.35 Gig download with about 400 downloaders and only about 20 seeders, that's not coming down anytime soon on my connmection.
Any way of getting this a bit quicker?
    Benbaa, chuch??
