Kill Your Friends was brilliant, I recommend it.
2 gripes:
1 - They missed out the drug fuelled trip to Thailand
2 - They missed out my favourite line 'It's not dog-eat-dog around here...it's dog-gang-rapes-dog-then-tortures-him-for-five-days-before-burying-him-alive-and-taking-out-every-motherfucker-the-dog-has-ever-known.'
I just read the book review. You've gotta be a bit twisted to enjoy it.

"Under Suspicion" (2000). Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman. How could it be anything but great? But, it wasn't......
I just discovered there was a second season of "Penny Dreadful" last year.
Set in Victorian London, highly recommended if you like Eva Green and gothic horror stories.

It's possibly my favourite book of all time. I bought a 2nd hand copy from a book stall on Phi Phi around 2009/10 and after arguing that the price was more than the brand new price printed on the back I walked away, then went back and bought it.Quote:

It got me googling all the background info on the Essex and Moby Dick and I then started reading the novel. It is curiously engaging prose for a classic. The literary style and pace draws you in quite quickly which you don't expect from such an old book.

I could never get into the wire. I kept falling asleep through season 1 and tried a bit of season 2. I'm sure I read somewhere that season 3 was shit. So I've started watching season 4 which is the best of them apparently followed by season 3 then 1 then 2 then 5
