yeah.
Ant Robertson has just given me that inferior sci fi product to watch.
I doubt it will be a patch on B5 but I shall give it a shot.

^ looking forward to your retraction :)
coming from somebody that rates the 'sara connor chronicles' as quite good :doglol: i expect it to be a pile of codswallop.

Shaun of the Dead.
Ok I somehow missed this one. Its got the same 2 guys from Blue Fuzz in it.
This one is a zombie movie. Very funny and was a really fast download.
Shaun of the Dead is an excellent movie. Very sharp humour.
I thought Shaun of the Dead was quite funny but not that amazing, especially compared to zombie comedy classics such as Peter Jackson's Bad Taste.
"Ashes To Ashes"
The sequel series to "Life On Mars". Just started in the UK so only one episode available so far. I don't think this is going to be as good as Life On Mars was but we'll see.
Best line of the show: "Today my friend your diary entry will read 'Took a prozzie hostage and was shot by three armed bastards.'" :)

If you like Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz then check out Spaced, the sitcom with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost that started it all. It gets an incredible 9.5/10 on imdb.

Flight of the Conchords (Season 1)
I have to say right off the bat that this quirky HBO comedy series might not be to everyone's taste, if for nothing else that the deadpan delivery mixed with the New Zealand accent can be hard to follow at times (something the show itself makes into an in-joke).
The series follows the trials and tribulations of a two-man novelty band (the titular 'The Flight of the Conchords') trying to make it in New York. It uses a unique method of the characters inner-monologe often being in the form of a music video (incidentally the album of the songs from the series has just won a Grammy).
The series itself is a bit slow to get going but by the third episode it's bloody hilarious in my opinion. The 'rap' they do as 'Rhymenocerous' and 'Hiphop-potomus' when confronted by muggers is klarse:
Jemaine:
They call me the hiphop-potamus
My lyrics are bottomless...
Bret (spoken)Is that it?
Jemaine(spoken)Yeah
Jemaine:
They call me the hiphop-potamus
cause I got flows that glow like phosphorous
Poppin off the top of this oesophageus
Not because I'm a water dwelling mammal from Africa
Called a hippopotamus I'm not a hippopotamus, I'm a hiphop-potamus
Where did you get the preposterous hypothesis that I was a hippopotamus?
Did Steve tell you?
What's he got to do with it?
Bloody Steve!!
both guys:
Other rappers diss me
Say my rhymes are sissy
What, what, what, why, why, why?
Jemaine:
Be more constructive with your feedback
Bret:
My rhymes are so potent that in this small segment
I made all the lady listeners pregnant
Yeah that's right, sometimes my lyrics are sexist
But you lovely bitches know, should know
I'm trying to correct this :D
Anyways a quirky and off-beat comedy that you'll probably either love or hate. Good torrent here for those that are interested: Flight of the Conchords - Season 1 (download torrent) - TPB
Underbelly
Aussie series about the Melbourne gangland wars between 1994 and 2005. Currently banned from being show in Victoria to avoid prejudicing an ongoing murder trial that is dramatised in the series.
Not bad. Features quite a number of good looking topless Sheilas with big tits :bunny3: so worth a download.
Breaking bad.

Top Gear - Revved Up.
Compliation DVD of some of the classic Top Gear moments (including when they attempted to destroy a Toyota pickup), out takes, etc. Well worth a look:

This is a 700K rip of the DVD so quality isnt exactly 'HD' but still very watchable.
"The Last Enemy"
Excellent new BBC Series: The Last Enemy S01E01 WS PDTV XviD-ANGELiC [eztv] : TV Shows > Other - Mininova
(second episode is on there as well if you do a search)
Big Brother is watching you. As portrayed in The Last Enemy, a darkly disturbing new BBC1 serial, we reside in a nation where every time you use your credit card or swipe your Oyster card, a sinister and unaccountable official force is able to track your every move.
The Last Enemy is a fiction, penned by Peter Berry (Prime Suspect 6 and Kiszko – A Life for a Life). The drama is set in a dystopian Britain a few years hence. Spurred by a terrorist outrage at Victoria Station in London, which killed 213 people, the government has cracked down on civil liberties, and there are armed police on every corner.
With more than five million CCTV cameras – one for every 12 people – the UK is already the most spied-upon nation on earth. On average, a British city dweller will be captured on film as many as 300 times a day.
In a key scene during the first episode of the series, the main character Stephen (Benedict Cumberbatch), a science boffin, is invited to comment at Cabinet on the government's proposal to install a top-secret ID system codenamed TIA (Total Information Access).
The viewer follows Stephen's quest as he uses surveillance technology to find out what has happened to his brother Michael (Max Beesley), a charity worker in Afghanistan, and Michael's wife, Yasim (Anamaria Marinca), with whom Stephen has fallen in love. Stephen is tailed by Russell, a security operative brimming with silent menace (Robert Carlyle).
"This piece is pretty damning about surveillance. What's already possible is frightening," says Carlyle. "Did you know that they can store a billion car registration numbers on a microchip the size of a pinhead? What a murky, murky, dark, dark world."
Fiction has travelled down this totalitarian road before. "Nineteen Eighty-Four was a blueprint for what could happen," the actor says with a wry grin. "I'm sure Orwell is lying in his grave smiling and saying to himself: 'I told you all this 60 years ago, but you just weren't listening!'"

Who Killed the Electric Car ...
Who.Killed.The.Electric.Car.LiMiTED.DVDRip.XviD-LMG Torrent - btjunkie
Documentary about what happened to the perfectly functioning electric cars that were built to comply with strict California environmental regulations. Contains a rundown of the history of the electric car as well as a more closely documented history of the effects of the Californian environmental regulations that forced car manufacturers to reluctantly produce more environmentally friendly cars, and the final nail in the coffin for the most functional, effective and silent electric cars built up to date.
Although this is slightly biased in favour of electric cars in the way that many US productions do not seem to be interested in producing as objective as possible stories even in cases such as this, when objective facts are enough to forward their point, it is well worth a look. Why? Because it does present a mostly fair picture of the issues surrounding alternative energy as well as an interesting chronology of electric car inventions.
