The movie sounds well worth the download. I'll probably wait till Friday as I'm upgrading to a 1 mb connection, should be able to deal with more downloads at the same time.

hey lom, please post your thoughts on this film, I'm cusious what the cats on TD think of it!
Like I said I really enjoyed it, & when I said:

The voice over from the filmmaker is pretty preachy @ times, but his narrative style was pretty good & he really hit gold with his subject (a girl named Pla).

Actually I'm not one who really likes voice overs, I think you're better off showing, instead of saying. Let people discover the message for them self, no need to spoon feed them your agenda!

I would like to retract this statement.

I was talking to someone @ work about this movie, & through our discussion I changed my mind on the filmmakers choice of using a voice-over.

This documentary was about a girl the filmmaker knew personally, so I think it's OK he put in his own perspectives & thoughts. There is a fine line that a filmmaker can cross when he develops a genuine care/concern for his subject & I honestly think Jordan Clark (the director) was pretty balanced all things considering!

I have registered with a couple, but obviously not because I didn't register, clicked download and it started.
Why register with a site if that's the case?
Is it so you can make comments and use the forums?

On Piratebay, you'll have to be logged in in order to see the section "Porn" when doing a "Browse Torrents"

I just finished watching it (got very good d/l speeds).

Pretty good film with a sad finish. The 5-year "International School" teacher was a right cvnt - the sort you want to kick sh1t out of if you met them (preferebly in a dark alley while they were totally pissed and incapable - I'm no hero).

I've watched it and thought it was good.
The sadness in the narrator's voice was far more convincing after seeing the end of the movie.
My heart was in my mouth when I heard that awful news.

And yes, I'm absolutely convinced it was Warren though a few years have passed since I last saw him. What a kunt, I hope he is embarrased.

So what is the dealio with these download/torrent thingies anyways (please forgive the overly technical jargon)?

I used to use Limewire a lot, even got the 'Pro' version but lately it seems harder and harder to locate anything of any value - download speeds were ok though, usually around 2hrs for a movie.

Anyways I downloaded that uTorrent thing but I ran the speed test thingymajig and it said that I'd need to do port-forwarding to increase my d/l speed. However unless port-forwarding is conducted by a process similar to re-boring and honing cyclinders on a Hemi V8 then I really don't have the first clue how to do it. I'm confused, is it even worth the effort or just stick with Limewire and hope things like Borat turn up 'on' there eventually?
