Just watching the first of his "paradise birds" documentary. As usual lovely.
Did you know out of all the animals David Attenbourgh has loved and observed - the first and only is a nine month old child
I'm sitting here watching Attenborough's AFRICA. Such stunning work......
Not sure if it has been posted already.
Haven't seen it but looking forward to it as Guy Martin is a bit of a character.

The Notorious Mr. Bout (2014) - IMDb
When he was arrested in 2008 in Thailand as a result of a U.S. government sting operation, the career of internationally known arms smuggler Viktor Bout came to a decisive end. Veiled by the obscurity of post-Soviet Russia, Bout had built an empire of aerial delivery so vast he was called "the merchant of death" and was even the subject of a Hollywood film. In sharp contrast to the widely known, super-villain persona, however, was another Bout: a philosophical businessman who simply enjoyed travel, his work, his family, and filming it all with his video camera.

Big Ol' Lucky Ol' Al.
"Bitter Lake", a BBC production and the best documentary that I've ever seen on the background to the current and past conflict and global terrorism centred around the Middle East and Islamic fundamentalism. Very highly recommended:

I watched the one about Victor Bout not long ago. Quite interesting and a nice guy.
I liked the final line at the end, Every year there are enough bullets made to kill the entire population of the World twice over.
It really was a disgrace the way he was stitched up. Even the judge could see how disgraceful it was, that unless the DEA had put together a meeting with a trusted associate (inside informant), then completely scripted two inside agents to get exactly what they wanted to get, he would have never been involved in the conspiracy to harm US nationals in anyway.
Uncle Sam, whatta guy.
a superb British canal trip documentary, full of history and scenery with the clear, precise diction of John Sergeant.... episode 1 https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/1170....HDTV.x264-mSD
good Doc
I had to turn off halfway through India's Daughter.
The hatred against women is just vile - watch it and let your lovely wives watch it. It is horrific and so sad that we are treated like that.
I am going back to the second half now because i have to see it to believe it. The lawyer for the rapists just makes me want to punch his lights out.
Well, what a documentary. I bet anyone not to cry. That was mindblowing. It just of leaves you empty and sad.
Please watch it, and don't be silly about it.

And did you watch it???
Wonderful, they were suppposed to show it on Indian Tv on International Womans Day on Sunday and they just put a little burning candle, instead of the documentary, Wankers. all the other countries in the world will now see them as who we always thought. Animals who treat women as shite.

I watched it. It was very disturbing to see the men's attitude with regard to this crime. How anyone could blame the girl is beyond me. What they did to her was inhuman.
It's an unforgettable piece of work.
India should hang it's head in shame.
Christopher Hitchens wrote a lengthy book with this title. He was also involved in the documentary, based on his book.
Here is the documentary, The Trial of Henry Kissinger.
It says Trials (plural).
There is a documentary thread in Multimedia.
