QAnon: The Search for Q S02

The more I see the results of their work, the more I'm convinced that the silly conspiracy has become something Mike Flynn and a load of religious charlatans have learned to monetize.

Amazing how people can be so fucking thick.

Living With Lions - a great sports documentary. The 1997 British & Ireland Lions tour to South Africa.

The first tour of South Africa and the first tour after rugby went professional (1995)

Focus is more off-field than on field.

    Almost 3 hours long

    Who Killed the KLF?

The KLF, especially their album The White Room (1991), was one of those acts that you thought you were, y'know, a bit hip if you cottoned on to early. A bit like "Enigma" in that regard. But, if you've never heard of them, or maybe vaguely recall a single or two ('Justified and Ancient', 'Last Train to Transcentral'?) be aware that this crew (a Scottish duo) sold more singles than any other band worldwide in 1991.

Anyway, if you're of a certain age, or just curious about these weirdo anarchists (with a great sound) this unauthorised documentary might well interest you. Some of their more out there stunts included-
    • Burning a million pounds (yep, real money).
    • Firing a machine gun loaded with blanks into the audience at the 1992 Brit awards
    • Dumping a dead sheep at the post award party, with the message "I died for you – bon appetit"
    • Announcing their retirement in 1994 (at the peak of their success), and deleting their whole back catalogue

And that was that. They hated fame, seemingly hated money, scorned the music business (they never had a manager or a 'label'), despised the music press, the whole PR thing- and as a result they were just lapped up- which quixotically, they didn't really want to be. Until they just packed it in that is, because it wasn't fun anymore. Sound interesting? It was- I never actually knew much about these dudes. Weird is an understatement.

    Well worth watching.

In 1971, a plane crashed after being struck by lightning. One teenage girl fell 10,000ft and survived.
Werner Herzog spent years looking for her because he was scheduled to be on the same flight, and wanted to make her story.
This is the result. Because she'd been brought up in the jungle, she had survival skills. Amazing story.

Good one for TDCSI. MI6 Brit found naked, locked in a bag in the bath with no fingerprints or sign of struggle found at all.

Then they claim he wasn't murdered

A really eye opening and interesting documentary about how people survive against all odds in the Philippines. The creator did a really great in depth job making this. He should be working for National Geographic imo.

Who Killed Jill Dando? on Netflix.

No real conclusions but some nice shots of Weston-Super-Mare and a lot of local interest for those from that area. This was big news 24 years ago.

I have a property in North Weston-Super-Mare that I briefly used as a base during the time of Jill Dando's murder and I remember the day of her funeral... the road to the cemetery where she was buried was blocked off by police and I couldn't get home. I had to park up half a mile away and walk back.

My lulu's on a small Serbian hit team with one assassin that were in and out of the country (not all together coming and going from/to Serbia, obviously), or a top dog criminal that got one assassin to do it due to Crime Watch ramifications.

To note, I don't believe YourDaddy has been online since it aired.

^ The W-S-M clubs in my day were 'Stars' and 'Mr Bs' but I don't know if they were around in the 60s. I've never heard of Moles so maybe that was in Bath.

I don't know why they can't give these people some of that truth serum in special cases.

Something that didn't come up in the documentary... the guy who I used to borrow the RAV4 from on our UK visits sadly passed away last year and he was cremated at Ebdon Road cemetery in W-S-M, the same place that Jill Dando is buried in.

With that speck of residue removed from evidence due to being a load of crud, I don't see how anybody could link that simpo-lad to being the executioner.

And the main suspect ran to the bus stop and got on a bus, a bus with CCTV, and the rozzers didn't get round to going to the transport department to watch the CCTV videos until months later by which time they were wiped?

Surprised the Met hasn't headhunted Chitty for Detective Inspector, at that sorta level.

In the Court of the Crimson King (2022)

Amazing documentary on the legendary King Crimson.

Fripp is barking. I remember watching them at an afternoon gig at the Venue in the '80's and being totally engrossed, and wondering what the fuck David Byrne was doing there. I think eventually Fripp was too much even for him.

Fascinating insight into the history and nature of Fripp's creation.

And to think, Fripp and the almost impressively talentless Toyah ended up as a truly cringeworthy youtube duo.
