The episode about Henry Wallace, FDR's 3rd term VP is pretty interesting.
Season 1 episode 7 going forward was particularly disturbing to me. Just sick.
Then more lies. https://goo.gl/images/ex54vj

'The Consciencious Objector'. Documentary of Desmond Doss, showing that he was even more heroic than was depicted in the movie 'Hacksaw Ridge'.
Haven't watched it yet but highly rated on the website.

heavy metal parking lot
it's only 16 minutes
A superb documentary about right wing extremism in the USA.
The bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in April 1995 is the worst act of domestic terrorism in American history; this documentary
explores how a series of deadly encounters between American citizens and federal law enforcement - including the standoffs at Ruby Ridge and Waco - led to it.

Timothy McVeigh. We've been told so much about him, the Oklahoma City bombing, and what it meant for America. But what if it's all a lie? Join us today for this special Corbett Report podcastumentary as we examine the multiple trucks, multiple bombs, government informants, faked executions and other pieces of information suggesting that McVeigh was not a "lone wolf bomber" at all but a sheepdipped special forces operative working for the government, exactly as he claimed.

Cheers, will have a go at that later.
Just saw "The Seven Five" recently. Pretty good docu of what was previously Noo York's dirtiest cop and his division, in the history of the city.
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_seven_five/Meet the dirtiest cop in New York City history. In the 1980s, Michael Dowd patrolled the mean streets of one of the toughest precincts in Brooklyn. He also headed a ruthless criminal network that stole money and drugs, ultimately resulting in the city's biggest ever corruption scandal. In this explosive true crime saga, Dowd tells all as he relives his days as a mobster with a badge. The story that unfolds is a riveting real-life thriller full of larger-than-life personalities, stunning double crosses, and epic downfalls. (C) IFC Films

Paul Sykes documentary ( Google Paul Sykes)
He's a local hard man around Yorkshire in the 80s / 90s who done a lot of jail.
It just shows his life up to his 40s
He died on the streets penniless and homeless of alcohol addiction
He's a nutter but the documentary is very funny in places
Well worth a watch
Part 1 of 'believers' series with reza aslan who is looking into fringe religious sects of the world. starts with the agora, a fringe hindu sect, some of whom are cannibals
fascinating in its own right, but the documentary often has the feel of a mocumentary, as reza is very mild and middle class, and gets himself into bizarre situations with these guys that he has no clue how to deal with.
one scene shows him following an agora into his private temple which is kitted out like a disco, complete with laser lights, who then challenges reza to a fight, and another one where he actually seems to eat a piece of a human brain and gets smeared from head to foot with ashes from a cremation and ends with him fleeing for his life.
Lot of unintentional humour, and quite enjoyable and informative.

That Paul Sykes was a bit of a scallywag...funny though
This is a good, well produced series.
Reporting Terror: 50 Years Behind the Headlines
Archive on 4
Peter Taylor reflects on his 50 year career reporting terrorism.
When Peter Taylor stepped nervously onto a plane in 1967, bound for the Middle East, he had no idea it was to be the start of a journalistic mission he would still be pursuing fifty years later.
At the time "terrorism" was barely in our vocabulary. In the hundred or so documentaries he has made on the subject since then, Peter has tried to get behind the headlines to understand and explain a phenomenon which has grown to affect us all.
Peter has reported the escalation of terrorism from the IRA and its Loyalist counterparts to Al Qaeda and the so called Islamic State. He has met the victims of terror, those involved in perpetrating terrorist acts and members of the intelligence services tasked with stopping them.
Revisiting his own extraordinary archive has given Peter the chance to reflect on the evolution of terrorism and to recall some of his most memorable interviews.
"There are moments when the interviews are chilling, moments when they're shocking and at other points they provoked a sharp intake of breath - surprising me by how prophetic they were."

An interesting offering from the UK's Channel 4. "A Very British Hotel" is a 3 part series that goes behind the scenes of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, where 80% of the 600 staff are non-UK citizens.
A very luxurious place, where the levels of service have to match the absurdly high prices.
