    Unchained America with Dave Gorman.

Its been around a few years now, but still a good watch.

Between October 22nd and December 5th 2006, Dave Gorman undertook a coast to coast road trip through seventeen states from the west coast to east coast of the United States of America. A book about the trip, entitled America Unchained: A Freewheeling Roadtrip In Search of Non-Corporate USA, was released on 3 April 2008. The rationale for the trip was to discover whether it is possible to travel across the USA without ever patronising any corporate or chain-style businesses : i.e. The Man. Thus Dave ate, slept and filled his car in restaurants, hotels and gas stations which were all independently owned.
A documentary film of the adventure was also made and was aired on the British TV channel More4 on 5 February 2008 and released on DVD on 11 February. In 2007, it won the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature at the Austin Film Festival.
Dave's journey started in Coronado, California and ended in Savannah, Georgia and was continually challenged to find independently owned gas stations, as well repairing the car itself - which often broke down.

Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story (2008)
Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story is an award-winning 2008 documentary on the campaign tactics used by Lee Atwater while working on the George H.W. Bush 1988 presidential campaign, and how those tactics have transformed presidential campaigns in the United States.

Boogie Man is about a Southern boy's rambunctious rise from humble roots to political rock star. Loved by his friends and hated by his enemies, Lee Atwater helped Ronald Reagan get elected, was instrumental in creating the Bush Dynasty, and mentored Karl Rove. Atwater refused to apologize for his controversial, often racially-charged tactics until the end, when he repented. Or did he?

Portrait of an American scumbag. Lee was buddies with georgie boy, who worked side by side on Bush Sr's election campaign. You think georgie boy was a chimp as president, he looked positively feral back in the day.

I like this Piratebay description of it.

Unimaginably vast, the Pacific is 99% water and only 1% land - you could fit the whole of the world's landmasses into it and still have enough room for another Africa! The distance between these islands can be huge - literally hundreds or thousands of miles - but somehow, life made it there.

Just finished watching the first 4 parts. Great stuff, thanks for the heads-up on this one. The last 10 mins of each part when they explain how they filmed it is great.

    Inside Burma's Secret State

Unreported World gets a rare glimpse into the Karen region of Burma.
Reporter Seyi Rhodes and director Simon Phillips spend two weeks trekking through forests to reveal the devastation the Burmese army is inflicting as it intensifies its war against the Karen people.

The team are smuggled across the Salaween river from Thailand in a small boat, covered by tarpaulin. On the other side, the few roads in Karen State are controlled by the Burmese military, so the only safe route is over mountains and through dense jungle.

    Unreported World - Series 2010 - Episode 5 - Inside Burma's Secret State - Channel 4

    Unreported World - 4oD - Channel 4

Another good report from the unreported world team. I'm not sure there's anything new, that we don't already know in the film, but still worth a watch.

    Talhotblond

The true story of online lies lead to murder in real life, as a teenage vixen (screen name talhotblond') lures men into her online web, with deadly results and real life murder.
Saw this mentioned briefly by Camel Toe and AntRobo in another thread.

    Well worth a watch.
