Fathers use logic and women are emotional. Nothing new there.

One of the greatest escapes of all time. Six Irish prisoners escape from Western Australia with the help of an American whaling boat.
Not sure if this Nova documentary will play in Thailand, but it should be available in other sources if not. It is an excellent discussion of how data from earth observing satellites is being used, and some of the physical processes are amazing. Title is "Earth from Space."

The Trains That Time Forgot: Britain's Lost Railway Journeys
Andrew Martin takes three railway journeys following the routes of three of the most famous named trains - the Flying Scotsman, the Cornish Riviera Express and the Brighton Belle.
Okay it about trains but its also a great comparison to a bye gone era of train travel, the presenter is so terribly BBC.I laughed when he mentioned the approaching snack trolley the lady stop beside him he inquired, have you any champagne.

Very confused, I thought that by making a simple comment on this subject I would automatically enjoy it in My replies column as an easy way into this thread..
Not so it appears, I have to go to search, is this a secret service thread?
Fascinating three parter from the Beeb about Patagonia.
Beautifully filmed, Attenborough would be proud of it.
