Thumbs up Bayonetta is a 'flawless' game.

So say's Edge with it's rare 10/10 review, and that is coming from a games industry magazine that is notoriously impartial, informed and thorough in it's reviews.

I can't copy from the glossy directly of course, but here is a sample of the news of Edge's review doing the rounds of all the gaming websites.

Bayonetta has received a stunning ten out of ten verdict in the latest issue of Edge Magazine.

The gushing review calls the platinum brawler "flawless" and "the kind of game you dream of playing".

"From start to finish its intricate and intuitive fighting system is a masterclass, and it even finds time to reclaim vehicle levels. This is about as good as it gets," the magazine says.

We haven't finished our review yet - it's out in the issue on-sale 9th December, because we're reviewing the UK version and Edge imported a copy. But Gil was giggling to himself the entire time he was playing it, and the opening panel of the review describes it as "like getting assaulted by a leather-clad rainbow of awesome," so the signs are good.
It looks good as you would expect.

Perhaps, like me, you're not a big fan of hack and slash brawlers, but when Edge say
'from start to finish its intricate and intuitive fighting system is a masterclass'
you've got to be interested. It's out now in Japan and worldwide Jan 2010.

Maybe screenshots don't do it justice, cause it looks crap.

Is it PC or crappy console game?

My thoughts exactly. And just Xbox and PS3 release I think.

Apropos of fock all really (well, other than Rob hates it when I use words like that ), but since I got my PS3 a few months ago I've probably only spent a cumulative 2hrs or so playing it.

Screenshots never do any game justice, but the vids of it do look bloody amazing.

The PS3 version doesn't play as seemlessly as the Xbox version apparently... so boo ya Ant!

I'm not a big hack and slash fan, just thought i'd give a heads up on this.
I'll still be playing Battlefield Bad Company online until the sequel comes out in March 2010.

Two games I really enjoy are Oblivion and Starwars, Knights of the Old Republic. Some slash and gash but plenty of other aspects as well. Yeah, I know they are a bit old but so am I.

    Is Bayonetta, anything like these?

No idea. Did you look at any of the Youtube videos that probably would have answered your question?
