Since the first case of HIV/AIDS was reported in Thailand in 1984, the incidence of HIV infections has increased steadily. So far 1,115,415 adults have been infected. Of this number 585,830 have died of AIDS while 532,522 adults are suffering from HIV or AIDS. New infections affected 12,787 adults and children this year.
The World Health Organisation last year found that over 30.8 million people around the world have been infected with HIV while 2.1 million have died during the past year. About 2.5 million new cases of HIV have been reported.
The health agency estimated that about 6,800 people per day or five people per minute would be infected with HIV. Of this total, 40 per cent are teenagers aged 15-24 years old.
Africa is the most infected area with 25 million people living with HIV while South Asia and South East Asia are the second most affected area with 8 million HIV patients.

The ex husband of Suwalee Iamkhong (a Thai national) is taking an usual step against his ex-wife. Percy Whiteman is using press about Suwalee Iamkhong to tell men if you have encountered his wife to see a doctor.
Percy Whiteman was married to Suwalee Iamkhong in 1997. They live in Canada. In 2004, she fell ill to HIV; in 2007 Suwalee was found guilty and sentenced to jail in Canada for passing it to Perry during their marriage.

A THAI bride who stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife has been jailed despite her partner asking that she be set free. Ratri, 32, of Rugby, was given a 12-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to unlawfully wounding her husband Mr Entwistle. The couple met in Thailand in 2004 and married in this country in November last year. The following month Ratri, who had obtained work as a cleaner in a hospital, came home and began drinking. He called the police after she became violent so she picked up a knife and stabbed him in the side of his chest. Ratri lunged at him again, and when he put his arm up to defend himself the knife struck his left hand, cutting it badly and severing the main tendon to his thumb as a result of which he still does not have full use of his hand. When she was arrested Ratri accepted she had poked her husband with a knife, explaining that she was frightened because he was calling the police which she thought would lead to her being sent back to Thailand.

Man dies after sting by scorpion

A businessman who emigrated to Thailand has died in hospital in Wales after being stung by a scorpion while abroad.
Father of three Mr. G Pike, 56, from Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, claimed he was abandoned in the jungle by his wife's relatives.
He died on Friday in Llandough Hospital, Cardiff, after his sister paid for him to return home in May.
From his hospital bed, he said that he had gone to Thailand after meeting a Thai woman. He settled there and later got married.
They moved to her home village but the marriage faltered and she left him. Mr Pike said her relatives then forced him out of the home he had built to live in a shack in the jungle.
It was after this that he said he was stung by a scorpion.

British man murdered by his Thai bride and her lover ... just weeks after he predicted his own violent death

A Briton has been found murdered after predicting that his Thai wife would kill him. Ian Beeston, a 69-year-old retired design engineer, was beaten and stabbed to death at his home in a village in the north-eastern Thai province of Roi-Et. His body was found on Saturday. Yesterday, his wife Wacheerawan, 42, and her Thai lover, Somchit Janong, 48, were arrested and charged with murder. Mr Beeston, who had grown-up children from a previous marriage, had predicted his death in a letter saying: 'It is just a matter of time now. I am in real fear for my own life.' He left the letter with lawyers.

Just think about it; a British man gains financially nothing in marrying a Thai woman and bringing her to the UK. Instead he will have more bills for her upkeep and her family needs in Thailand.
The Thai wife will gain a free 2 year trip to the UK with full upkeep, free NHS services, full legal aid when it comes to divorcing you and the chance of Indefinite Leave to Remain.
When the wife receives her ILR she is entitled to everything a UK citizen can.
This is WHY BRITISH men are PRIME TARGETS and these Thai Ladies know the above.
Also the Introductory Agencies make a lot of money, they charge over £1200+ these days just for the introduction and then £500+ for the visa fee aid. They only need 20 customers a year to make an excellent living on your behalf and remember they know absolutely nothing about the woman who they have introduced you to.
