New to this torrenting lark

I have just upgraded from a 2mbps with a 1gb download limit to a 8mbps unlimited download connection and have been downloading fro the past week.

I have been invited to demonoid and use isohunt and mininova but i am intrigued by the IP and the box sites you lot are on about on here, any chance of an invite?

i am currently downloading prison break with thai subs for the missus, but i have noticed on a lot of sites that there are not many thai movies or anything around with thai language that have people seeding. Anybody got any good sites with either thai language torrents or thai subs?

oh and wii games as well. I am downloading mario kart but I am getting either 10kB/s or less. The eta is fluctuating between 5 days and 3 weeks

very strict on ratios mind you....half of my invitees get banned for not listening to me or reading the rules.... you'll need to download their free download stuff first and start to buoild a decent ratio.

Too true...I was warned on IP torrents and it was frustrating because the stuff I was downloading wasn't uploading very much. Even recent series like Entourage and The Shield......it would only upload about 100 mbs or so and then it would abruptly stop. But then I discovered that IP has a shitload of freeleech downloads, a ton of which was porn. Bangbus 4 got my ratio up to nearly 2:1.

^It helped my ratio considerably. The other day I downloaded the movie "Burn after reading". It had tons of leechers so I thought I'd get a pretty good ratio. I uploaded just over 100 mbs before it stopped for some reason. No clue why. But porn seems to upload on a continual basis, even a week after I've downloaded it.

I have also had problems like DF had, but for some reason my ration is 1.564, which is not bad.

i intend to download some free torrents but right now i am 75% through downloading mario kart for the wii and dont want too many downloading to slow it down as it is taking ages already. What i did download was a file that had hardly any seeds and quite a few peers, but alas it seems at the moment that my uploading is full of uploading the damn mario kart.

So far i have downloaded 75% of 4.31gb yet i have uploaded 8.82gb. what a bugger, shame it is from a site that doesnt travck your uploads!

I downloaded the Beatles Discography and David Bowies Discography. Both will sit there seeding forever. Pink Floyd, The Stones, etc would probably do as well.

i got two of them free torrents on stand by for 11pm when my downloading starts again. That is another good idea, probably better than downloading a lot of porn!

now that nang nak has downloaded and i only have mario kart in download i have done some of the free torrents CMN suggested at I am currently sitting at 2.278 and I am slowly building up an upload buffer just incase i have any problems in the future

thanks CMN. I worked out how to restrict the upload speed oh Mario Kart so freeing me up a bit of bandwith. Damn thing 78.9% of 4,31gb yet i have seeded 9.09gb. I think I have well and truely earned my upload for this torrent!
