^ Amazing, that's some precision positioning going on there.
I once installed a positioning system for driver-less forklifts running in the aisles of a high-storage and there it was precision with an error of not more than 5 mm.
The whole storage was computer controlled and the forklifts picked pallets with booze from the high-storage and delivered them to a conveyor belt going around to stations where humans picked off boxes of wine, whiskey, vodka for packing and delivery to different sell-points. When the pallet had done its round it was picked up by a forklift and put back into its place in the storage.
There were lots of accidents with pallets sticking to other pallets or to the fork so it was a constant smell of alcohol in the storage hall.
