    A Torrent question

Until recently, I have used Pirate Bay for downloads- but they won't let me in now, unless I buy a VPN. This include the mirror sites. Not sure if that is worldwide, or because I'm in Oz. Well screw that, I have the Tor browser and Duck Go search engine, that's good enough for me even in nanny orrstralia.

Thanks 'arry- the EZTV site is good for TV series (Line of Duty latest series- on it now). But it doesn't do movies.

So my simple question is- is there a decent Torrenting site I can still use that is not going to force me to use a VPN? Or are those days gone?

    Cheers all.

Opera has its own VPN - no need to add one. The maybe try

    Torrent Search Engine | 1337x.to

Not as neat as Piratebay but works and has all the latest

1337x is good. I use it frequently. I also use Rarbg. I stopped using PB about a year ago.

I use TorrentDay. But you need an invite, I think.

You do it is private, and you also need to share your torrents back and maintain a ratio.

1337x also, some annoying browser pop-ups for me but pretty good otherwise.

I find this one excellent for movies including the latest ones, also documentaries. Quite a lot of foreign language movies also, and most movies give you the option of downloading subtitles if not already included. As I play everything through Apple TV, I particularly like that all the downloads are MP4 so no conversions necessary.

Search and Browse YIFY Movies Torrent Downloads - YTS

I like Apple TV, all my media is on my iMac, with remote control to scroll through the content, plays my music through the TV system, and plays video with no buffering including 4K wirelessly from my Mac.

I find more than a few MP4's these days have the aspect ratio screwed up and VLC doesn't seem to be able to change it.

I end up resorting to Kodi which is flawless.

Thanks all, very helpful. Reckon I'll try 1337x as my go to, but I've saved the other sites mentioned too. Dunno why TPB has gotten greedy, probably because I'm in Oz now- Rip off the digger.

you also need to share your torrents back and maintain a ratio.
Oh but I do. Only fair.
