What's the most amazing piece of pop or rock music ever performed?

For me it's Canadian, and in their prime these three guys were unbeatable.

I've always enjoyed Alan Parsons work - always best listened through headphones unless you have a blinding setup. HIs productions are usually expansive and always meticulously crafted.

He worked on a couple of Beatles albums and Dark Side of the Moon and of course has his own albums but this is the production of his that caught my ear so to speak.

I was lucky enough to see The Last Waltz at Winterland in SF. Pretty impressive line up and a fantastic 4 hour show.

Various other artists perform with The Band: Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Dr. John, Neil Diamond and Eric Clapton. Genres covered includeblues, rock and roll, New Orleans R&B, Tin Pan Alleypop, folk and rock.
