ok, i just finished watching "Unrivalled". stars hector Echavarria, Rashad Evans, Keith Jardine and others. thought this movie was better than "the wrestler". its has a good sountrack and lots of tits. did i say tit? yes, heaps of them, mainly pole dancing.

Picked up a very good copy of 'The Hurt Locker'. I ran it in English, of course, with the English subtitles. When a character said "James..." the subtitles said "vegetarian food". The translation was totally ridiculous. What the fuck are they thinking?
As war film go I thought this one was not exactly academy award material. I found 'Enemy at the Gates' and 'Black Hawk Down' far better. Hollywood politics strikes again. Last year it was 'Slumdog Millionare' another mediocre film that will never stand the test of time.

I take your point, but it's a shame kids nowadays won't ever get to enjoy the originals. Saturday morning at the cinema, couple of episodes of Flash Gordon, then a Ray Harryhausen movie, crafty oily rag *** in the bogs, kicking the seats, jumpers for goalposts, etc.

Watched The Dark Knight last night, very enjoyable...great shame about Heath Ledger's passing, the movie suggested he was a very good actor and had much bigger and better in front of him.
Also started watching Precinct 9, which was five minutes later added hastily to the recycle bin..utter tosh..all five minutes of it.
He was good in The Dark Knight, but did you see him in Brokeback Mountain? His best performance I think. I'm straight and though I didn't care for the sex scenes, I really liked the movie. It was just a story about love and loss. He did a great job with the lead role.
Just finished watching 'Dear John', a tale of a US Special Forces man and his relationship with his local sweetheart during his various assignments, principally in Iraq. OK film, maybe a little too sentimental for most, but for anyone who's actually served in the forces and maybe lost a girlfriend (or three) whilst on operations, maybe a poignant reminder of past lives.
Satya (1998)
Indian crime film that tells the story of a man who arrives in Mumbai looking for a job and a new life, but instead becomes involved with some local gangsters and works his way up in the Mumbai underworld.
Decent story, with the occasional bit of dodgy acting and singing and dancing.

A boy is unwillingly thrust into the atrocities of war in WWII Byelorussia, fighting for a hopelessly unequipped resistance movement against the ruthless German forces.
According to a review I read on IMDB, Steven Spielberg screened this film several times for his cast and crew while making Saving Private Ryan. In my view, Spielberg wasn't paying very good attention, for SPR comes off very poorly in comparison to this Russian masterpiece. If SPR is a Sgt Rock coloring book, this film is Picasso's Guernica.
This movie reminded me why I love movies; one of those intense, gripping, special, etc film experiences that I'll never forget. If you're a war genre fan, or at all interested in filmmaking in general, I think you owe it to yourself to watch this movie. Just don't expect formulaic Hollywood crap, this movie is a work of art, and a rare glimpse into the unimaginable horrors of German WWII atrocities in Russia.
Best war-related film I've ever seen? Perhaps, it certainly made me reconsider movies that I had rated highly, such as Apocalpyse Now and The Thin Red Line.

Ive all ways been a fan of Timothy Spall , so I download this with out hesitation and research , Timothy Spall plays Georgie Godwin the main character who seem's to have a life revolving his claim to be Britain’s fattest man , it was some times moving, some times a little slow but not the comedy I expected .I seemed to watch this thinking there's more to come but in the end the 90 minuets were still entertaining .
Synopsis
It's been 23 years since seriously obese Georgie Godwin (Timothy Spall) left his house. His only relationship with life outside is found in daytime telly, the view from his living room window and his visitors. He relies on Janice, his kindly neighbour who comes in each day to look after him and his friend and agent Morris Morrissey (Bobby Ball). In charge of making sure he retains his title and cashes in on his size by feeding him up, Morris brings taxi loads of tourists to gawp at the 'eighth wonder of the world'. Then, striking up a friendship with a troubled teenager sent from Social Services to tend to his overgrown garden, Georgie seems persuaded to try to lose weight. As Morris begins to fear losing his cash cow, salvation appears by way of the local news – a chance to take on his rival Big Brian in a live weigh-in … So, what does Georgie really want, the glory of being the Fattest Man in Britain, or a life he never dreamed he could have?
