Ah well there you go see, I didn't know it was overrated and was not exposed to any hype so therefore had no expectations.Quote:

I thought I was lucky when the wife told me I was an "Interesting Person" sadly, she fucked up...she meant "A person of interest" not quite the same..
An ex girlfriend once told me she was boring, I had to agree.Quote:

Cured my summertime blues. Not merely nostalgic, there are some laugh-out-loud joyous moments in this 62 year old movie. Cary Grant is perfect as usual and a grown up Shirley Temple looks delish. Good stuff.
Twas crap. I think I said this on another thread about kid's films (family room?) Littl'un sorta liked it, I thought it was dreadful.Quote:

^
you are far better off sleping through the whole of jumper than watching it.
The Great debaters was excellent.
one of those movies that I never fancied watching and was sitting on my hard drive for ages and ages.
really enjoyable.
^Agree on both of those.
Jumper was all fancy surface and effects with zero substance, no wit or anything redeeming at all. Shame about the millions of dollars they probably spent on it.
The Great Debaters was really enjoyable.
Haven't seen the Bucket List yet.
watched MASH for about the 110th time last night, but the first time for about 5 years.
it remains one of my favourite movies of all time, definitely on my top 10 desert island list and one of only a handful that i can watch over and over.
excellent selection of older torrents uploaded here.

it's where i got MASH from as well as about 35 of the other movies on that page.
had always wanted to see Forbidden Planet as a sci fi buff so i downloaded that too, ok, i know it's about 70 years old, but even then, the storyline was incredibly weak.
XMen Origins: Wolverine - Basically get the back story of Wolverine and how he became the way he was. Plus loads of mutants you know and love show up. Prob should have waited to see it on the big screen, but saw it online couldnt resist. Good popcorn movie 8/10
i hate those superhero marvel maky type movies.
bet it's even worse than the dark night.
i know that's off topic, but i can't resist having a personal dig at that over rated waste of nearly 3 hours.
^ I agree that The Dark Knight was over the top, they fucked it up, if it wasn't for the joker
BATMAN Begins was much better, at least it had a refreshing angle
Just downloading the Wolverine one, if Brits given it an 8 I'll more than likely watch it with the kid and miss most of it.
Watched Ghost Dog last night, Forrest Whittaker plays a hitman working for the Mafia and ends up being part of the Mafia politics after a hit he does involves the top guys daughter. Not an out and out classic but OK in a cult type of way.
i really like ghost dog.Quote:

I remember watching that during English class when I was 11 years old. I thought it was quite good at the time. The main thing I remember was Mr Hall going on about the rich colours that Eastmancolor produced.Quote:

I've got MASH on the go as well as This Sporting Life.
