Well yes, I think big budget well known movies are easy to find.

I was thinking more of those little known gems that maybe didn't get so much publicity or ( as in my case ) the odd old classic that you might have overlooked.

Bad Day at Black Rock is another one.

Oh, and Runaway Jury, a well crafted version of a Grisham book with Gene Hackman and John Cusack.

Just watched the original Blade Runner movie. Way ahead of its time.

Pitch Black was the first of the Riddick movies

    All good.

    For sub movies

Das Boot (1981) and there is also a TV series of that I downloaded but haven't watched yet.

    The Bedford Incident (1965)

    And bit less cerebral

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1961) which spawned a TV series I would rush home from school to watch (showing my age)

Old stuff I have recently dusted off:-

"Treasure of the Sierra Madre". Classic old John Huston (Western) movie. Can watch it over and over.

"From Beyond". Great old cult adaption of a HP Lovecraft horror tale.

"Mighty Boosh" (series 1). Totally trippy, off the wall surreal comedy. Not everyone's taste.

"Mandy". Only released a year ago. Berserk modern cult classic.

"Ronin". De Niro film that went under the radar on release. Brilliant car chase.

"What's My Name". Ali documentary. All narration by the great man himself.

"Q-The Winged Serpent". Gory horror-monster epic.

Yeah Chef was a great movie. There is a Netflix series with Jon Favreau as well.

    Good call. Also:
    The 39 Steps
    Psych0
    The Birds

Then anything by Kurosawa, at least:
    The Seven Samurai
    Rashomon

And a film largely forgotten in the West but still very popular in China:
Waterloo Bridge (the later version with Vivien Leigh.)

Blade Runner is always great for a re-watch.
Apocalypse Now is one of the best movies ever put on film. While you are at it watch the documentary about it's filming "Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse".

    Also, anything Stanley Kubrick...

    2001 A Space Odyssey
    A Cloclwork Orange
    The Shining
    Full Metal Jacket

For a little something different try an anime movie by Hayao Miyazaki. I would challenge you all to watch them without prejudging that it is a "cartoon".

    My Neighbor Totoro
    Porco Rosso
    Howls Moving Castle
    Castle in The Sky

Many others as well all just amazing.
