I don't know about all that stuff, all I can tell you is, on the laptop side of things, my Macbook is by far, miles and miles, the best laptop I've ever owned.
Now, have you bought a replacement set of headphones for those crap Chinese ones which broke in the first 3 months... My Shure 215s are 8+ years old and still going strong (& I've used them at the gym many many times, sweating away, they still work even though they are not 'sweat resistant'), just sayin.
Cycling should be banned!!!
It's the same for me, my one year old MSI Laptop is much better than the 5 years old ACER which it replaced, the MSI is by far the best laptop I've ever had.
The desktop computer I built from parts at the same time is also the best desktop computer I've ever had.
Strange how it can be, eh?
Thanks for your input, Lom...
The main difference is the hardware and software working together because it's all Apple; makes the job a lot easier for both their hardware & software designers. I will never go back to a Windows machine and all the crap that goes with it.
If you're going to buy a smartphone, why buy a bluetooth speaker? When you buy a phone you get a pretty good set of earphones. Why not just use those?
Or was there something I missed....
I got one of these JBL things. Hardy as all hell, fuck knows how many times I've dropped it. Waterproof too I think... might test that after a few more wines
I think some of you guys need a Mangina refit.
Lazarda is exactly the same as going to MBK .
It contains original equipment and knock off equipment.
You do your price research and go from there dont .cha.
Get it together Girls ????
Ive got a Harmon Kardon Aura Studio 2, brilliant sound.
As for the laptop discussion, IMO laptops are like cars in regards to reliability. They are extremely well made, some are very light weight with similar features. Buying a laptop is about what one needs to do and requires. You can buy basic to a custom build with some crazy options. I have a really slick Dell XPS 13 for work and travel and my Touch screen 15" for Home. I personally like Dell and they have always performed flawlessly.
While I think Apple makes a good product, I always hated their BS lock you into their cult shit type business model. Plus Apple people are just weird. They drink a lot of the Apple Kool Aid I think...
I had Dell for years, always decent; must've bought 5 Dell laptops over the years from Panthip, good value.
I also hate everything about Apple (their marketing, over-pricing, image, etc), but I've found using their laptop worth the stigma. They do make good products. The benefits of being able to control/integrate the hardware and software are considerable.
I wouldn't touch that overpriced Apple rubbish with a shitty stick.
A brief update.
Following on from Baldricks cunning plan, I've been given a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet which a pal had lying unloved and unwanted in a sock drawer.
It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connection, which will be compatible with the 4.2 speakers and headphones I've been looking at.
It should be compatible with BT 5.0 if necessary.
(I'm sounding like a computer wizard, but i've been reading up on the internet.)
So, the plan's on the go.
Cheers for the tips and encouragement.
