setting up an online radio station

Hi there.

I've been asked by a friend to investigate setting up an online radio station and am wondering if anyone on this forum has experience with this ?

We need a radio streaming service and having searched Google there are several options; some are free but limited to the number of listeners and since my friend has over 40,000 listeners on his live Facebook broadcasts it looks like we will need a paid service.

Its hard to tell if any of the radio streaming services are any good because there are not many reviews available.

Any advice appreciated.
